Who told you the tickets are $2000 ? CL tickets are being sold for Rs.200-1500 (CDN $5-37.5). WC games would be Three times more than the CL prices but I think they are very very affordable.
Hehe...are you going to teleport yourself there? Plus also would require visa clearance.

Ghel ghagrina....When you go there you would be obviously going there for about a month or so. So i guess, $2000 is very reasonable for airfare. Start saving from now uncle :giggle:

Just plan to be there in India around about the world cup time if possible. It's too early for anyone to decide or make plans. Even i am not sure, but would love to be there. My dream to watch it live.

Laxman in the WC? (Rohan's keyboard just turned into a gooey mess)
I was talking about any other game which we can watch. By calling Laxman's farewell match, i meant his last test match which would take place.

Excellent pics man. Wish I could have been there to catch DD match tomorrow. I've only been to cricket stadiums twice before, both were test matches, first time I when I was little with my dad and barely got to see Srinath on the field before we had to leave for some reason. Second time was Pak's tour of India, in the Delhi test match, we bunked school (in our uniforms, lol) to catch the match at the start of the day. India batted the whole day, when Sachin came to the field it was like a wonderful surreal experience to finally see him without a screen (even though he got run out in the very first ball he faced) Others like Ganguly, Dravid, Laxman were equally amazing to see bat. And Shoaib Akhtar.. man, he loves to play the crowd. Had his sleeves up to his shoulders the entire time, then would flex his biceps to the crowd when fielding. We were sitting vertical to the pitch so when he would walk back to start his run up, some of us would taunt him, including some maa-bhen abuses (crowd was rowdy as hell and we just got caught up in the heat of the moment), he clearly noticed the taunts, replied back with smiles and nods before turning around and starting his run, then lathi cops came to shut us up. Though the majority of the stadium actually cheered him too, his bowling really is unreal, that's why when he got hit for boundaries is when the loudest cheers in the stadiums came, lol!
