Without a doubt he's a good talent but what about Kamran. This guy has a knack of playing "rescuing" innings. Remember against us in Mohali and Karachi ? Can be a very gritty batsman when things are not going Pak's way.

But I think he will stay on because he knows his weaknesses and strengths and plays within himself. It's his temperament that counts more. I think the guy had good coaching.

Well, he is obviously technically not perfect. But like I said, he is a very good batsman.

U Akmal will be a better ODI player tha tests , but I can see him playing some match saving/winning innings in tests once in a while as well ....45+ avg bat for tests imo .

Umar Akmal is one of the brightest young talents in world cricket at the moment. I saw him play in the champions trophy and he looked like an exciting kid and he has proved that now. Hope he goes on to play a long time for Pakistan.

Was very lucky early on. Survived a drop catch, another half-chance. will need to improve a lot. But he is quite aggressive in his attitude and strokeplay, and that can sometimes compensate for other shortcomings.
