King Tendulkar Posted January 17, 2010 Author Posted January 17, 2010 I think Botha is also a good offie. He can't even get in to the team ahead of pants Harris! So to bring him in to a discussion of best spinner in nthe world is madness!
S.Bond Posted January 17, 2010 Posted January 17, 2010 another funny thread;.... no need to go too far, shakib al hassan is better...
fineleg Posted January 18, 2010 Posted January 18, 2010 Let Bhajji perform well in Tests in Away series before all this "best" tag can even be thought of.
punjabi_khota Posted January 19, 2010 Posted January 19, 2010 Let Bhajji perform well in Tests in Away series before all this "best" tag can even be thought of. SL and Kiwi series were away series.
bharat297 Posted January 20, 2010 Posted January 20, 2010 Swann has outperformed Bhajji this past year anyway so I dont think its a clear cut call as to who is the best. As someone mentioned earlier ... Swanns the best on current form and Murali is the best overall thats still playing... So either way it goes Bhajji is not the best at the moment
cowboysfan Posted January 20, 2010 Posted January 20, 2010 well he is the best spinner we have and its not even close.ojha and mishra have failed to impress so far.this match would have been over with bhajji in there.
Texan Posted January 22, 2010 Posted January 22, 2010 Murali is still by far the best. Having one bad series doesn't make him a bad spinner. Next best is Swann. Bhajji is decent in tests, but in ODIs, he hardly gets wickets even though he bowls fairly economically.
Steyn Posted January 22, 2010 Posted January 22, 2010 I differ. Vajji is way better than Swann. Swann just gets some cheap RSA wickets. Let him play in Asia or Aussie conditions, you will find the difference. For me Bhajji is the best spinner atm.
Zero_Unit Posted January 23, 2010 Posted January 23, 2010 i still think Vetori is the man for the job ... harbajan comes second in mind
Riley's Girl Posted January 23, 2010 Posted January 23, 2010 I differ. Vajji is way better than Swann. Swann just gets some cheap RSA wickets. While my boys weren't performing @ top level, labeling their wickets as 'cheap' in general is overreaching and an insult to the bowlers who took those wickets. IMO there is no clear BEST at the moment
Chalks Posted January 25, 2010 Posted January 25, 2010 Move over Phil Taylor, Bhajji is the best dart thrower in the world. :P
CSK Fan Posted January 25, 2010 Posted January 25, 2010 well he is the best spinner we have and its not even close.ojha and mishra have failed to impress so far.this match would have been over with bhajji in there. Yep, just like he took one tail-end wicket today
urbestfriend Posted January 26, 2010 Posted January 26, 2010 Indeed he is the best .................!!! :hysterical: in dart throwing
Sachinism Posted January 26, 2010 Posted January 26, 2010 Move over Phil Taylor' date=' Bhajji is the best dart thrower in the world. :P[/quote'] Phil The Power :two_thumbs_up:
Fontaine Posted January 26, 2010 Posted January 26, 2010 Bhajji: 36 overs, over a hundred runs conceded, 1 wicket of the 11th batsmen on a track where there some decent spin. He's a decent spin bowler but clearly he's not the best one in the world. To even think that is such a joke.
Ram Posted January 26, 2010 Posted January 26, 2010 Toothless performance from Bhajji. Sehwag comfortably outbowled him in the spell he bowled after tea. If anything, it was Sehwag's economical spell that probably led to the two wickets that fell late in the day.
