Pitch is still playing great , just 1 wicket loss today .[/quote'] Remember the 01 Eden test vs Aus? Day 4 no wickets Day 5 13-14 wickets (including 10 aussie wickets within 75 overs) Expct more of the same here as well.:yay::yay: Link to comment

EnterTheVoid
i asked u a simple.. wat do u have to say about the best bowling lineup conceding 600+ runs.. is it cuz of flat pitch then?? Flat pitch, partly, but mainly because of brilliant batting. Don't denigrate the achievements of VVS and Dhoni by brushing aside their bowling because this was the same bowling attack that inflicted an innings defeat on a flat pitch. On such a flat pitch and after being in such a good position, to collapse like they did to an attack that looked so toothless was a choke, a classical SA choke. Link to comment
Fontaine
Well the pitch tomorrow will have a little turn but bounce also. In that case it will get good for the spinners. But the key wickets will be Hamla who's in great form and Smith. If we can get these two out cheaply then an innings victory is definitely on the cards. Link to comment

If SAF batsmen score , its cuz our bowling was toothless and useless.. If SAF bowlers get wkts, its cuz of brilliant bowling.. :two_thumbs_up: Link to comment

You just reversed the argument. :haha::haha: We score 650/6 so we batted well but their bowling was not poor. However we bowled them out and our bowling is ordinary and their batting choked. Well atleast you are consistent. :cantstop: Link to comment

punjabi_khota
Sree_oz has a VERY VERY angry soul. The souls feeds on defending aussies, bashing pakistan, creaming itself over israel and putting India down. The soul is very upright, honest soul, especially on the internet. The angry soul likes to talk big using even bigger words, spouts random criticisms 24x7, and considers Mithun from any of his movies as his idol. Only that Mithun got laid in every one of them. Unlike the owner of the soul. Link to comment
fineleg
We need all bowlers to fire...Ishant and Mishy have been passengers for too long (and hope Harbi learnt from 1st Inn, and no more Dart throwing) If not, Smithy (great 2nd inn player), Amla & Kallis will score big on this pitch. We can't have 25-50% of our attack only firing. Once ZK gets that support from rest of bowlers *and catchers* , we can get them out under 400-425 and bat a win to level 1-1 A win is a win, even if we bat for it. Link to comment
Sachinism
^^ ZK will carry us again. Hopefully now the spinners are a bit more useful though Link to comment
punjabi_khota
Lol 400+ ? The spinners will blast them saffers out for 250. Link to comment
Fontaine
Lol 400+ ? The spinners will blast them saffers out for 250. Well it'll be the job of the spinners allright. There's a little turn but also bounce which even Harris was getting. He's just an average finger spinner. A better bowler would be able to extract more bounce and turn. I'm not really worried about SA middle order. Yes Kallis is very good but he can't do it alone and Boucher is missing so the middle order won't be a problem. The mountain to climb is at the top of the order against Smith who's due and Amla who's in superb form. He got lucky a few times in the first innings against Zaheer. The trick is going to be whether Ishant/Zaheer can make the most of the new ball and the little bit of moisture in the morning conditions which should allow the ball to move. If we can grab one or two wickets in the early session then the game is pretty much over. If not, then South Africa could well bat out the entire day. Link to comment
coffee_rules
Rain predicted all of D4. India might have only 1 day to take SA out. If it's a draw, India will lose #1 ranking! India need to air-dash all dancers (rain that is) out of Kolkata. Link to comment

Guest Hiten.
More like they choked. Our bowlers had nothing to do with it right ? It's about time you only watch Australian cricket because that's the only cricket you understand. Sree I don't see any criticisms from your side (like the other fools who lament India's bowling) about a lack of quality spinner in SA side. If you're coming to subcontinent without a quality spinner you might as well not show up because playing FOUR seam bowlers is completely stupid and blasphemy on an Indian track. South African attack is toothless, one dimensional and depended on one man - Dale Steyn. The moment, sehwag went after him SA were clueless on who to bring because if Steyn was leaking runs, others were bound to leak (maybe 2x more). But then of course, its the Indian bowling thats depending on Zaheer and rest are ****. Link to comment
