goose Posted February 17, 2010 Posted February 17, 2010 So my work needs me to take 2 days manadatory leave starting next week, else I'm in trouble! I couldn't round up any friends so am going to use this time to holiday solo. I'm quite excited. The world is my oyster. I just can't choose. I think I'll choose 2 places and do a week each. The short list is... Venezuela Cuba New York Montreal Las Vegas Mumbai Delhi Copenhahen Brazil Argentina Greece Thailand Ibiza. Any thoughts ?

If you want to do this with a single guy's frame of mind I would say Las Vegas is the best of the list. You can have loads of fun, and I mean quality fun and not only Sin City style. If you have a couple of days extra you can take a drive around Grand Canyon, Hoover Dam, Red Rock Mountains of Sedona etc. You may even want to drive to New Mexico which is absolutely stunning this time of the year. Places like Greece, Ibiza etc are places that you should visit with a loved one. I would hate to visit these places by myself.
Guest Gunner Posted February 18, 2010 Posted February 18, 2010 Forget the european locations, the weather isn't great. In Ibiza the party season hasn't even started if I am not wrong. Heading to the Americas might be a great choice at the moment. Thailand would be fabulous too at this time of the year. And yes, the carnival is underway in Brazil currently.
