vvvslaxman Posted April 17, 2012 Posted April 17, 2012 My favorite Kubrick's is A Clockwork Orange. Most of 'em would say Full Metal Jacket, but I like to differ. Clockwork... was well ahead of its times and the ambience created in the movie is pure brilliance. :hatsoff: a weird movie.. very advanced for its time.

maniac Posted April 17, 2012 Posted April 17, 2012 The only Stanley Kubrick movie I personally liked was Shining...Switched off Clockwork Orange halfway,saw Full Metal Jacket and thought it was ok...Awesome Soundtrack though...Maybe I am not the intellectual artsy type but at the sametime will not enjoy a movie like HouseFull-2

VHS rentals, cable channels, DVDs were that made this movie so popular. It is interesting to listen to Frank darabont in the dvd bonus features about how it became a phenomenon.
