I meant watched it for half an hour.had nothing to do.was hoping it would improve.the film is set in Punjab,yet Genelia speaks hindi in southie accent:giggle: overacting

Watched a Hindi movie in a theater after quite a while - Shanghai. I think it's over hyped to be honest. It's a decent movie, but certainly not of the quality that it's got reviews. Even without watching it, I am pretty sure Gangs of Wassey pur would be better by a significant margin. The plot of Shanghai is too predictable and Hashmi has done an okay job - nothing like what the reviews describe. Abhay Deol was brilliant in my opinion and his character was the one who kept me engaged in the movie.

Finally saw Rockstar- wow what a overhyped movie Music is what should be appreciated in this movie, not the movie, direction or the pathetic acting by that lead actress Soundtrack, which is also a music-based movie is a 100 times better than this crap borefest but Rockstar did better than Soundtrack at box office; what the heck is wrong with Indian audience?? Probably only movie where I rooted for the heroine to die in the movie to stop the torture because her acting was so bad
