Asim Posted December 4, 2012 Posted December 4, 2012 Amir Khan is tense Talaash viewer might not reveal the STORY. Salman Khan can never have such tension.
DomainK Posted December 4, 2012 Posted December 4, 2012 ^ Sallu is bindaas. Sallu's producers don't need anything but Sallu to have a 100 crore+ movie. Other producers have to worry about story, direction, acting etc.
The Outsider Posted December 4, 2012 Posted December 4, 2012 Watched Kahaani. Really enjoyed the movie. The street scenes of Calcutta were brilliantly done. Must not have been easy to film the Durga Puja scene on the streets. All actors were good, probably the guy who played Khan overacted a bit, but nothing much to complain about. Vidya Balan really portrayed the role very well. She was good in Ishqiya as well, but this was a more accomplished performance. The story line was good and fast moving, definitely one of the best thrillers I've seen over the last few years.
Crookbond Posted December 4, 2012 Posted December 4, 2012 I liked Kahaani until someone told me it was a rip off. Which movie is it ripped off from btw?
The Outsider Posted December 4, 2012 Posted December 4, 2012 I liked Kahaani until someone told me it was a rip off. Which movie is it ripped off from btw? Not sure if a spoiler is needed since the movie is about a year old now, but: The plot and treatment is different but the idea of a woman faking pregnancy to take revenge is from Taking Lives
Sooda Posted December 4, 2012 Posted December 4, 2012 I agree to your overall sentiment about spoiler tags but I can't resist making this comment. If the Tiger does not jump out of the boat' date=' this would be a horrible-horrible film! :--D[/quote']
gaurav92 Posted December 4, 2012 Posted December 4, 2012 Kahaani > Talaash and in fact Kahaani is probably the best suspense thriller I have watched in B'wood.
maniac Posted December 4, 2012 Posted December 4, 2012 Kahaani > Talaash and in fact Kahaani is probably the best suspense thriller I have watched in B'wood. +1
maniac Posted December 4, 2012 Posted December 4, 2012 I liked Kahaani until someone told me it was a rip off. Which movie is it ripped off from btw? Even if it was it wasn't as blatant as some of Mahesh Bhatt's movies and needs to be applauded for the way they made it.
gaurav92 Posted December 4, 2012 Posted December 4, 2012 Even if it was it wasn't as blatant as some of Mahesh Bhatt's movies and needs to be applauded for the way they made it. Absolutely. :two_thumbs_up: you people surely havent watched samay Downloading it, we shall see, but I doubt it will be any better than Kahaani !
