Precambrian Posted March 31, 2013 Posted March 31, 2013 Snake eyes: Nicholas Cage is brilliant in the movie. There is a very long shot in the beginning without a cut and Cage is superb in that. Cage is always good, even if the movie is utter trash, he gives an earnest performance. Not sure why his selections suck.

Vilander Posted March 31, 2013 Posted March 31, 2013 scavengers 2013 sci fi - worst movie i have seen in my life. Ok concept and script but 1997 cgi and poor acting. Had to watch Event Horizon (1997 ?) which is same genre to get over it. scavengers - 1/10 event horizon - 7/10

Well he does not have luxury of selection because of financial troubles; he is in every other movie to make money and pay off debts

Not sure why his selections suck.[/quote'] Just found out that scene was 12 minutes long without any cuts. The camera simply follows Cage for 12 minutes. Amazing work by Cage and the director. But yes, the movie was not very great and Cage's selections suck big time.

So many nominations for this ...totally undeserving. The academy gets too patriotic. badly written character gets best actress nomination. She said to one of the seals .."you are gonna kill him for me". I wanted to yell WTF, get off the high horse you f'in beeya....you get my drift..

Street Fighter (1994) - Just pretend it's a spoof movie :winky: And these immortal lines said by the villan M.Bison played by Raul Julia. He did a cracker of a job in this movie. Keep in mind that, he is affected by cancer, he knew he counting his days and this would be his last role.. For God's sake, he has a chandelier made out of human bones and he wonders why people think he's a villain. Superb acting. "For you, the day Bison graced your village is the most important day of your life. But for Me, It Was Tuesday" "A Bison dollar. It's worth five British pounds... For that is the exchange rate the Bank of England will set once I kidnap their Queen!"

One of my favourite Movies ever. Its been 3 years since I saw that movie and every other day I keep wondering whether the man was actually guilty?? Search for Dybbuk box on google lol. Over all the flow was good even though it is the kind of movie you have seen a lot.
