you like TDK :headshake: the 2nd one in the trilogy was the only one worth watching but even that wasn't great. Argo was definitely meh - this film winning the Best Film Oscar is a complete joke.
The whole Dark Knight triology is the best thing happened to the genre. :finger: Argo is an oscar bait. The oscars have now become a joke of an award where they encourage american propaganda paired with an angst ridden plot. They followed this logic. oscarbait_9451.jpg

overrated. Lol so true....you make a certain type of film and its certain that it would win the Oscar.

surrogates - decent movie,1 time watch,decent plot as well ghosts of girlfriend pasts - avg movie,nothing special the good sheppard - another decent movie,but have seen better spy movies

Matrix was first of its kind. A milestone. Amazing. Inception is an amazing piece of imagination. Both are as significant in their own place.
True. The problem with Inception is that they left too many questions unexplained. Except for the last scene. The climax is aptly unexplained, which is a fitting ending for the viewer's perception but there are lot of other things which spoilt the movie for me in second watch. Where as Matrix is simply getting better every time I watch.
Anybody who has read even a little bit about maya would find nothing imagintive in inception. It looked like a bad attempt to look smart.
Matrix actually acknowleges the concept of Maya and Indian mythological belifs. Have a look at the scenes that involve an Indian couple (Rama and Kamala) and their daughter Sati.

many people say that its one of the best movies ever made. I though it was (highly) overrated :--D
Don't know, lets see how it goes. What do you make of Hitchcock's other movies - Rear Window, Vertigo and Psycho? I think Psycho is the finest mystery movie ever made.

great movies - all 3 of them. Must watch for all thriller fans.

Good, I found those movies great as well, s going by that logic, we seem to share similar sort of taste when it comes to watching thriller movies. So now I think, I need to watch North by Northwest with minimal expectations to enjoy it :--D. And I think Rope will be good, have heard rave reviews from friends :agree:

you seem to be on an old movie watching spree :--D Check out these - Dial M for Murder, The Third Man, The 39 Steps, Les Diaboliques, Witness for the Prosecution, M (one of THE great movies of all time OMO), Chinatown, Strangers on a Train, The Woman in the Window etc.

Finally saw The Conjuring. Not as scary as I thought but didn't get bored and enjoyed the movie BTW, the real Annaella doll in the actual paranormal museums belonging to the Warrens. On the left and the movie one on the right anbld.jpg
