Lurker Posted May 30, 2007 Posted May 30, 2007 Watched Shootout at Lokhandwala the other day. Overall a good guy-movie. If you like an out and out action movie you won't be disappointed. The movie is slickly done and without going into the factual accuracy of the event that happened, it delivers on the subject. Movies on such idea, an encounter or a bank hiest, are seldom made in India and so it was good to watch it. The best performance comes from Sanjay Dutt as the top cop. There are a few scenes in the movie where his physical apperance speaks its own language. I personally could not help but watch the movie and think how the likes of Salman Khan would spend an entire career taking off their shirts and still not be able to convey what a Sanjay Dutt or a Sunny Deol can do. If you do watch the movie just watch Sanjay Dutt's walk around the Antop Hill encounter. Songs are all cr@p and not needed as well. Amitabh and Abhishek Bacchan get wasted..rightly so too..personally have had enough of them in the same movie. Overall 8/10 for guys watch. xxxx

Sanjay dutt and Shetty role was gr8.. such villin type roles really suite Vivek Oberoi, he was pretty good in this movie.. that tushar kapoor guy looks too young to do such roles.. he doesn't even look like gangster.. anywayz, movie was pretty good.. short movie too.

King Posted June 1, 2007 Posted June 1, 2007 Watched Spidey 3, liked it. A little long thought but well made. Watched Pirates.... it was ok for a watch but again too long. Watched ShootOut At Lokhandwala, it was good in patches. Star cast is good and most have done a very good job. Especially liked the 2 cops and the killers. Songs were overkill and movie would have been better off without a song. Still a good enough movie to watch. Way...... better than a mindless hollywood movie.
