Straight Drive Posted August 19, 2014 Posted August 19, 2014 if your body fat is less than 5 percent' date=' the white light will be approaching you soon[/quote'] I just realized it is entirely wrong post given the percentage i mentioned. RKT's post has clarified the percentage well. BTW we see that most young boys now are obese to some extent, some even more. Even some under 10 have tummies now. It's shocking to see the young generation getting tummy fat at such a young age. Health in this generation seems to be in decline overall. Even school kids having eye problems (spectacles), tummy, bald at even 30, skin disorders, back problems, heart attacks and many other diseases have now been seen at even lower ages than before. Some young are unable to produce kids too due to lesser sperm count being one significant reason. It is no more uncommon that most of youths have gone to the hospital either due to typhoid, jaundice, malaria or some other diseases related to bad health. It's not good to see that young boys are failing to be in good health overall. Back to the actual topic, there are some good trainers around. Not only do understand understand and devise good workouts for the pros at gym but they also stress the importance on understanding details of the relatively inexperienced gymmers who have been in gym only for few years. The training certification have also improved in our country leading to improved trainers. Good to see that.
Aaku Posted August 19, 2014 Posted August 19, 2014 I do not think you can lose just that part of fat separately. nballa Posted August 20, 2014 Posted August 20, 2014 Loll do u even know what u r talking about... Some of the advices in this thread r lol worthy. yep particularly your's
Straight Drive Posted August 20, 2014 Posted August 20, 2014 What kind of advises can we expect from self admitted fat guy who has failed to keep himself fit :winky: Still in spite of reality in terms of the fitness abilities, fitter healthier people are ridiculed and the unfit are supposed to be better advisers nowadays as far as fitness advise is concerned. It reminds me of a youth in our locality. About 20 years and weighs 110 kgs. He had just joined the gym for 3 months or so, totally unfit to even play a 10 over cricket match or even shape wise or health wise. He was advising us how to improve fitness. This advise he was giving to some of us who are decades older than him and still play 50 over matches and some even play 3 day matches. This out of shape unfit boy who can't even play 10 overs match knows more about us in fitness. Further few of us have been working in gym for more than 7 years and this 3 months joinee keeps giving eternal fitness gyan as to how one should go about fitness and strength training. We just listen to this kiddo and see him getting more unfit every month while he just bloats about his flopped process which has made him unfit in many aspects and then expects us to follow the process which has taken him to a unfit level.
Straight Drive Posted August 20, 2014 Posted August 20, 2014 Recently a lot of gym trainers are marketing Whey proteins and other supplements. Fat loss programs are another hot sellers for gym owners.
randomGuy Posted August 20, 2014 Posted August 20, 2014 My target is 10 to 12%. Anything below.. healthy or not is plain ugly. cool..good ambition. From Rkt's post, looks like I am abt 25% atm. hope to go to 20% which I was at in the past maybe.
rkt.india Posted August 20, 2014 Posted August 20, 2014 cool..good ambition. From Rkt's post, looks like I am abt 25% atm. hope to go to 20% which I was at in the past maybe. me too about 25%. My goal is to get to 15% but my under-active thyroid is real obstacle. I gained 2 kilo after losing 13kg in last 20 odd days despite working out.
Straight Drive Posted August 20, 2014 Posted August 20, 2014 My upper body falls in the 15% range if we compare the collar bone shape and chest images. Below that somewhere between 15% and 20%. Lower body in 15%. All shape wise as evaluations as per the images. Desired BMI ratio when i last calculated few weeks back.
rkt.india Posted August 20, 2014 Posted August 20, 2014 I have been sick for a month with various issues mainly after a headache. Needs to get back on track. Lost some shape.. Really disappionted. Need to get back on track. you had migraines?
