Sehwag is without Doubt the Best Batsman in the World On a pitch where Extras were the 4th highest score between the two sides and only 6 others got into double figures, Sehwag creams a beautiful 100 at an SR of nearly 120. If there was ever any doubt there can't be now. Right now Sehwag is easily the best batsman anywhere in the world.

This does not anyway detract from Sachin's flurishing form but Sehwag is better at the moment. Over the past 12 months in Test Sehwag has scored more runs, at a higher average, with a higher SR and the same number of Centuries. It is wonderful that they get on so well.

The thing about sehwag which in my opinion makes him better than Sachin in some ways is that he handles pressure more well, when the team needs a performances, Sehwag has done it more than Sachin.
