DomainK Posted September 3, 2010 Posted September 3, 2010 Not exactly... earlier only cash was found. But this time it has been determined that the cash was the same "marked" cash that was handed to Majeed by NOTW. If this is indeed true' date=' then no further proof would be required to press charges.[/quote'] wow....thats interesting. Now it's true and if Butt really gave that sisters wedding BS earlier, he is in serious trouble.
Ram Posted September 3, 2010 Posted September 3, 2010 They did the same ‘How dare you do this to us, we will sue your ass’ thingy back when the ICC champions trophy to be held in Pakistan was canceled in 2008 by ICC due to security reasons. So its nothing new.
varun Posted September 3, 2010 Posted September 3, 2010 ^^ Very true. It seems that these denials aren't the usual part of the Kuber Ross grief cycle. It seems, that after acceptance, they go into a studied denial phase where they know what the *** is going on but choose to blindly portray that they are still stuck in the denial phase, thereby making people wonder about the conviction of their accusations. Having said that, the statements coming from the Pak HC and the rest in front of the staggering amount of evidence is actually making me feel a lot more confident about the kind of proof that India gave to Pakistan for the mumbai attacks which were rubbished by them.
don_corleone840 Posted September 3, 2010 Posted September 3, 2010 yeah PCB WILL MAKE AN OFFER ICC CANT REFUSE.
Manny_Pacquiao Posted September 3, 2010 Posted September 3, 2010 seriously, stuff like this just puts you off watching cricket forever. why should i stick around to watch a game where the governing body allows cheats to play? its not fair on the viewer, not fair to the other players who play honestly. i want the cheats to be banned forever. the same treatment that disgraced athletes get in other sports. its what the ICC OWES to the cricket fans all around the world - a clean game. its the LEAST they should try to ensure. i would have had a much better opinion of paki cricket if their administrators could actually admit that there are problems, could admit that the allegations are serious and vowed to clean up the game in their already filthy country. but they are going down the usuall denial and conspiracy theory route. these ****ers deserve no respect whatsoever. trust pakistan to produce another generation of ball tamperers and match fixers with the state that their country is in, given the attitudes of their people. the only paki who i have gained a lot of respect for is ramiz raja. the guy knows the score and isnt bull*****ing. pakistan needs another thousand of him
Clarke Posted September 3, 2010 Posted September 3, 2010 The solution to the problem of match fixing is to decide whether to make betting legal or illegal. It is legal in England, but illegal in India and Pakistan, but still betting continues here. It is not the job of the Sports Ministry to put an end to it. It is for the ICC and others to decide," said Jakhrani. How does legalizing betting solve match fixing ? All it does is bring in more money and the stakes are thus higher. Does that solve match fixing, when the amount that is gained/lost is higher ?

Ram Posted September 3, 2010 Posted September 3, 2010 The main problem with Pakistanis is that the gap b/w the general perception of Pakistan in the minds of the outside world and what they think of themselves is so vast, you could literally fly an Airbus A380 through it. I can bet you guys that there’s a significant portion of the Pakistani population who think this was all a set-up to embarrass Pakistani players, much like how probably thought they were hard-done by, when ICC cancelled the 2008 Champions trophy How can you start addressing the inadequacies, when you haven’t even begun to acknowledge them? Rather than use this opportunity to weed out the nefarious characters and clean-up the system once and for all, PCB will do its best to rally behind its players and shield them as much as they can. They think acknowledging the inadequacies in the system is a sign of system and a step towards capitulation. So they will everything they can to sound bellicose and act tough, even as the rest of the world watches in horror mixed hilarity.

There are rumours among current and ex-cricketers. Michael Holding was talking about some incident which happened a few years ago but got buried because of people involved. Didn't give much detail, but makes you wonder about the game and the people who manage it
Ram Posted September 3, 2010 Posted September 3, 2010 Having said that, the statements coming from the Pak HC and the rest in front of the staggering amount of evidence is actually making me feel a lot more confident about the kind of proof that India gave to Pakistan for the mumbai attacks which were rubbished by them. Oh trust me, this is happening because the alleged crime happened in foreign country (England), the current criminal investigation is in the hands of a reputed investigative agency (Scotland Yard). Can you imagine what their reaction would have been, had fixing happened in Pakistan or say the Delhi Police caught them doing such a thing? In the former case, they would have done all they can to destroy the evidence, discredit the witness and water-down the case, while in the latter case ,they would have simply rubbished the whole thing as another ploy by the Indian govt. to discredit Pakistanis.
Asim Posted September 3, 2010 Posted September 3, 2010 haha everyone know that PCB and Pak players are not at all doing well and nothing is going in right direction but looks like people in India are doing full time job to follow/think/discuss/abuse//offend/humilate Pakistan, PCB and Pakistan players...
satyam1729 Posted September 3, 2010 Posted September 3, 2010 haha everyone know that PCB and Pak players are not at all doing well and nothing is going in right direction but looks like people in India are doing full time job to follow/think/discuss/abuse//offend/humilate Pakistan' date=' PCB and Pakistan players...[/quote'] That is better than full time begging which pakistan does.
Manny_Pacquiao Posted September 3, 2010 Posted September 3, 2010 like people in India are doing full time job to follow/think/discuss/abuse//offend/humilate Pakistan' date=' PCB and Pakistan players...[/quote'] i dont think people in india, or anywhere, need to do ANYTHING to ''abuse/offend/humiliate'' this dog **** team u support. speaking personally, i am just pissed off at how this makes a mockery out of the sport i love and have spent many years watching. pretty much any cricket lover would feel the same way i am also pissed off at how pakis tend to wipe their asses with the laws of the game by cheating more often than not, and i want them to get a proper punishment this time. u do realise that the equivalent of the **** they get away with in cricket would never be allowed in any other sport.

Last week they wanted the players hung, but slowly (actually very quickly, less than a week) they've forgiven the crimes of the players and now want them back at all costs, a lot are buying into strange conspiracy theories
Asim Posted September 3, 2010 Posted September 3, 2010 As I mentioned earlier I know, you know whole world know it was worst thing in cricket Pak players committed and also PCB is still not doing well to handle the situation and yes all of you can point the finger and can criticize but don't you feel it should have some limit? You guys have rather started to insult the people of Pakistan, all cricket followers of Pakistan who loves the cricket exactly like you if not more and humiliating 24*7 the whole nation and county just because of this one **** reason, so far I took everything lightly and positively but with due respect, I think NOW all of you (or most of you) are crossing the limit, unfortunately...

You think there is only one reason that people here humiliate Pakistan ? And why don't you ****ing preach those losers at pukepassion which is already oveflowing with the amount of conspiracy theories ? Half the people over there are already supporting the cheats, which basically tells us about their own character.
