He is actually rightly denying and saying he have not given any interview because it was not an "interview" rather just a casual talk which might every player be doing each day with their friends etc... what he did wrong is: got little too much open and careless while talking, specially when already things are not going good for the team (may be he was t u n n and even dont remember what he said)

This can have long term implications on future county players from Pakistan, apart from Paks losing games, no balls, wides etc..since this is so hot, it will go for a while then will fizz out but Butt, Asif and Aamer are just finished No one is a fool to accept the fact that a bookie/agent gave same cash notes to butt who says its for sponsorship and for dowry ( in this day and age ).
