Raina is awesome through the match except the second innings batting.. he needs to work on the short ball .. rest he is 10 times better than all the other contenders of the test spot... he is an all round man for the test squad

ran msd out, but all will be forgotten well done raina
I blame MSD for that, it was Raina's call, instead of looking behind and seeing the ball, he should be responding to Raina's call, who was the one who had to run to the danger end. Also MSD saw Hilf had the ball and was going to throw it, should have got in the way of the ball

What an experience for Raina. To be in the center amidst all the drama has to be a great learnign experience and he will come out as a better test player from this experience. What a teamman!! Kudos to him. Now go out and blast the Aussies for a 100 in the next test.

Raina is an ultimate player.. the guy is a team man... the only problem i see is that he doesnt value his wicket.. and was surprising to see him just walking away when johnson dropped him.. him and dhoni plays with this attitude.. 'i will play my shots, if i get out.. i get out, no big deal' it works ok with Veeru since he is the opener but not for no.6 and 7.

Veer, Actually both Raina and Dhoni place a lot more premium on their wicket than Sehwag. However, I think it is a question of losing focus/patience. Raina needs to work hard on that especially. Also shot selection considering the context - he will hopefully learn that. In the final Test against SL, he was needlessly swinging at Lasith Malinga when Laxman was well set at the other end. In this Test, in 1st Inn, he was dancing down to Marcus North and missing the ball, would have been stumped once or twice. Thankfully Tim Paine was a bunny wicketkeeper.
