Spiteful pitch, day 1 we end at 136. Bad start to the tour, but it aint over. One thing that our team has shown is wriote them off at your own peril. What they need is 15 overs of Viru's batting in 2nd innings. It's not yet over folks. On a sidenote, can we please have some overnight rain to get the wicket a little damp for tomorrow?

Batting first and getting bowled less than 150 India has won 1 match in last 15 years that was in Mumbai 2004 on rank turner. Our bowling never was that good.So batting failure means automatic loss.

I think India have a 10% chance of winning. the pitch at the end of the day looked like 350 par kind of pitched. Terrible toss to loose. But like the old saying goes always give your opponent an opportunity to choke. If India can try to do this but still loose I would be happy because I think the toss factor was huge.

Does it? I think it will ease out when Saffers bat. Sheer bad luck India got caught in the first innings on a perfect for Steyn/Morkel pitch. It should rain just before SA start their innings :--D

:icflove: On topic - yeah, toss will play a big part. The SAffers will have better conditions to bat on, so could be a long day for the ZK-less attack.

India will get to 150-160 and then Saffers will take a manmoth 200+ lead and we will be bowled out in the second innings too before surpassing that humongous lead :((

We can still draw. SA will bat today and most of day 3. We then have to bat 2 days to save match. We can bat 2 days. The pitch is so flat and will get flatter. We will bat like galiticos second innings. We will draw 1st test(ala Lords 1st test of last tour to englan) and go on to win series

Yeah guys..hang in there..We will save the match..and win the series.. But to be honest our bowling doesn't looks like a match saving or winning one..So we have to again rely on our batsmen to save the match and series..
