You got that right buddy.Most of the Sachin haters in this forum are probably his biggest fans.They are just too emotional.Whenever Sachin plays well,they worship him and when he does bad they start running him down. I too was one such guy once upon a time.He has always been one of my heroes.But I could never forgive him if he did bad.I remember that once he scored a duck against Lanka in the 90s and I tore all my Sachin posters.

For the record rett's warnings and/or infractions have been reversed. They arose from the confusion as to why he was entering every thread related to Tendulkar with a belligerent attitude. The concerned moderator is now aware of the context and rett on his behalf has been mature enough to be more selective with his sarcasm. I have put this information here because some seem to be concerned about biased moderation. ICF would hate to lose a well rounded poster like rett. Please continue with cricketing discussions related to the thread and PM me for any moderation concerns on this particular topic.

Laaloo Oh the 'injury wishing' - did you not read the thread I wrote the very next day? Or maybe the 'wishing' you remember but the subsequent day you conveniently forget. Anyway - thats the only thread I created to apologize publicly (in any forum that I participate) because I myself felt that I had overstepped and it was wrong on my part to have done so for any person (not just tendulkar) - just any person. I wrote it in anger, and then apologized the next day after I had cooled down and realized my mistake. Apart from that - there is nothing else I have written that warranted an apology - since the rest of the posts, are like you said criticisms of match performances or poor form which anyone is entitled to provide their opinions about. That we can agree, disagree, whatever - but each person has their right to express their views on any player or their greatness and underachievements. And anyone can call for a player to be 'included' or 'dropped' from the team. All that is part and parcel of a sports discussion forum. And even back then during the "incident" and even now, I've always had a poster of both Tendulkar and Dravid and some other players in my home, and they are all my favorite players. But that does not mean I will always hail them and does not mean I will always say Indian team is the best in the world and we will get 20 wickets anywhere anytime or whatever like some here chest-thump. I like some of the players as my favorites and that liking came by watching them over many years and yes, SRT is in it, Dravid is in it, Kumble is in it, VVS and others too. PS: BTW - in the recent Durban match thread, some one was wishing Ishant Sharma gets injured before Cape Town - that did not get as much fanfare as the post I once wrote. Why? Because IS is chota compared to SRT? Everyone is the same. In anycase, I am not accusing that poster here, just that people get angry and type something in keyboard and may realize later they were just angry.

Maybe cause it was a match thread and was very active at that time and regardless couple of posters called that particular post. He didn't actually open a new ****ing thread just to wish an injury upon an Indian player.

Fair enough, and BTW - I did not create a thread for wishing that, it was a thread regarding the way he was playing in that match situation, and in that thread one of the statements I had made that.
