When Sehwag uses his brain he get in trouble. It is best sehwag rolls the dice and starts attacking like he normally does and destroys the shine on the new ball.. In the last match Shewags quick 30 put the new ball out of shape and the SA bowling was struggling , the SA team started getting wickets only after the umpires allowed the ball to be changed after 10 overs..

Feeling like tomorrow(4th innings) is Sehwag's day. After watching for 2-3 overs of Steyn, he will score quick fire 50. He is very down-to-earth, but it must be bothering him that Steyn has gotten him most time in this series.

the only issue is time south afrika themselves ae in a position where they have to decide whether to attack and set india a big target or to take it slow, make the game safe and then set the target. i think they will attack, especially before new ball and that should play into india's hands. i think india can chase even 300, but there is a good chance there wont be enuff time. i'm guessing 200-220 is gonna be the target, unless indian bowlers knock them over, which is highly possible. whatever they have to chase, just hope no wickets go down at the end of day 4 [this means u, sehwag!!!] and india has all 10 going into day 5.

No point making predictions now. The first session tomorrow will pretty much dictate how the match is going to progress forward. What we need tomorrow is session that is a mirror image of the 1st session we had on day 5 of the Durban test – South Africa lost 4 wickets and we only allowed them to score 65-70 runs. If that happens, we’re well and truly in the drivers seat and we can push hard in the post lunch session. However, if South Africa have a good session and manage to score close to a 100 runs for the loss of 1 or 2 wickets, then they’re well and truly in the horse’s saddle. Remember, whatever happens, we have to bat last in this test match. That is difficult in the best of circumstances (flat pitch, mediocre bowling attack). We’re talking about a Newlands pitch that has always done something, especially with the new ball and a bowler like Steyn. Whatever be the target, South Africa will be confident of defending it. If South Africa do manage to get away first session tomorrow and if they’re really serious about pushing for victory, they would be monumentally stupid not to declare before close of play. But for that to happen, they would want to make sure the target is over 300. So a lot depends on how much they manage to score in session 1. On the flip-side, if we do manage to bowl them out, before close of play, we could well be looking at a 280 run target in about 100 overs, which could actually end up being a blessing in disguise for South Africa because they can then have a bowl at our batsmen before close of play and nip out a couple of wickets with the new ball and fading light.

We MUST keep the chase down to 160-180 maximum Dale is unplayable and Morne is equally suffocating. Even Paul Harris will have some help from the pitch on Day 5. As usual, the only one left is the useless So-So-bye and we will try to attack him, and he may get some gift wickets. So, anything beyond 200 means SA will certainly win the match and series. Steyn factor versus the new found purpose in India's approach in chasing totals in 4th innings and finishing games that has them elevated to the No.1 team in the Test rankings and stay there. Something has to give here. It would be very interesting to say the least. Instead of giving a scoreline I would want India to chase down something like a 275 or so here that would make for a thrilling 5th day. We have the quality to do that and I think we can get it done.

Yeah I was surprised why they made that public, it's very negative attitude and just might cost them the match and series.

^ Let's see. The only South African batsman I've seen play with genuine aggression and intent is Smith in these kind of situations. Even during the chase at Durban, he was the only one who came out with a positive mindset.
