The money paid for him by KKR at that time was very much justified. So there cannot be any blame attached to them But, now he is simply a poor batsman. Basically, he has been found out and he is no longer that good. It's important for this player to accept and learn to change his game.

He is also very good at hitting off spinners and captains have denied him that option.
