Cricketics Posted January 21, 2011 Posted January 21, 2011 You deserved a hundred there. Only rain could stop you and it did. Disappointing end.. but well fought.
fineleg Posted January 21, 2011 Posted January 21, 2011 he stood alone, everyone else played like buffoons
Manny_Pacquiao Posted January 21, 2011 Posted January 21, 2011 he is a class act might be one of the top 3 ODI bats in the world at the moment, alongside amla he will do well in test cricket too, has the technique for it
Dravid Posted January 21, 2011 Posted January 21, 2011 that 6 over extra cover... awesomee in whos place would u play kholi in WC cricketics?
HowardRoark Posted January 21, 2011 Posted January 21, 2011 I am very impressed with the maturity and responsibility displayed by this young fellow quite a few times now. He has come a long way since his brat ways early in his career. Hope he carries on for us and help fill our seniors' void in a few years from now.
ViruRulez Posted January 21, 2011 Posted January 21, 2011 I have grown respect for the kid match after match .. I was one of his biggest critics at the start due to his attitude when he first came to the team a couple of years ago but now I have become one of his biggest fans since a long time .. I would even go to the extent of saying that he might be the next Tendulkar in the future .. even Goddy did not achieve so much success at this stage of his career and he was nearly crap even after being the opener .. but Kohli has already made several hundreds with an average of 45+ and that is better than Sachin to be frank .. hope he continues with his form .. his talent is not any lesser than Sachin at the same stage of career to be frank
Sooda Posted January 21, 2011 Posted January 21, 2011 Should replace Dravid in the test XI in W Indies
ViruRulez Posted January 21, 2011 Posted January 21, 2011 Should replace Dravid in the test XI in W Indies I am not sure about Dravid but I also feel Kohli should be included in the test team too... I dont see any scarcity of talent in Kohli compared to even Pujara or Vijay and he looks like an all weather batsman who can perform in all formats .. I also want Kohli to enter the team soon if reqd. replacing Vijay or Pujara .. Kohli's technique and talent is better than Vijay and Pujara IMO and he is also a more confident batsman
Cricketics Posted January 21, 2011 Author Posted January 21, 2011 that 6 over extra cover... awesomee in whos place would u play kholi in WC cricketics? who's place?? he has his own place. No. 4.. No one can take him out of the team or starting x1. If they do, they all don't know what cricket is all about
yoda Posted January 21, 2011 Posted January 21, 2011 Most consistent of all the new comers and that too by a mile.
saneindian Posted January 21, 2011 Posted January 21, 2011 This series could be a huge turning point in his career. Doing well in SA against Steyn , Morkel and Co on pitches helping bowlers will surely give him lots of confidence. Could prove to be one of our aces in the WC. All the best Virat. Keep working hard and keep a level head and you are destined to play for team india for the neat 10-12-15 years.
bear23 Posted January 21, 2011 Posted January 21, 2011 should be permanently given the no:3 slot. On the other hand Yuvraj is just another afridi
Clarke Posted January 22, 2011 Posted January 22, 2011 who's place?? he has his own place. No. 4.. No one can take him out of the team or starting x1. If they do, they all don't know what cricket is all about :hatsoff: This lad holds his own, you cannot drop him for having Raina as well as Yusuf in the team.

flamy Posted January 22, 2011 Posted January 22, 2011 PLEASE. TAKE A DEEP BREATH AND STEP AWAY FROM THE COMPUTER. :cantstop: h4teler?
Sachin2210 Posted January 22, 2011 Posted January 22, 2011 He batted brilliantly, was the lone warrior that night. It's a pity that he couldn't get his deserved hundred.
vaibhav_delhi Posted January 22, 2011 Posted January 22, 2011 Sachin, sehwag, gambhir, kohli Whaaat a top four!! To go with that: Yuvi, raina, dhoni as finishers. Whaaat a top seven!! If only the bowlers apart from bhajji and zack could back up, the WC is ours:two_thumbs_up:
