The Outsider Posted February 23, 2011 Posted February 23, 2011 Must have been tongue in cheek by Strauss, being blown out of proportion by the media. He is usually very measured with his words.
Zap_Brannigan Posted February 23, 2011 Posted February 23, 2011 Remember the full blooded pull against kenya batting left handed
vvvslaxman Posted February 23, 2011 Posted February 23, 2011 He can bowl offspin, seam up, leg spin, doosra, googly. A very keen student of the game.

Dinx - the Jinx Posted February 23, 2011 Posted February 23, 2011 reminds me of Andy Caddick... :winky: Good sign for us. We are giong to have a great run in this WC
Ultimate_Game Posted February 23, 2011 Posted February 23, 2011 More... Today, for the second consecutive day, Virender Sehwag did not join the team for the training session while off—spinner Harbhajan Singh also skipped practice today. Pacers Zaheer Khan and Ashish Nehra had light training session at the NCA gymnasium to strengthen their backs. Getting worried about our squad's fitness levels. This is just the first week in a tourney lasting month and a half and already key players in our starting XI have fitness concerns :(( Zaheer, Harbhajan and Sehwag are crucial part of the team and don't think we have any replacement for these 3 key players. Hope they get well and stay fully fit throughout the tournament. They can take couple fo months off and skip IPL after winning the cup
CSK Fan Posted February 23, 2011 Posted February 23, 2011 How is this going to help him? Usually he has some pretty good strategy before each tourney.
Ultimate_Game Posted February 23, 2011 Posted February 23, 2011 How is this going to help him? Usually he has some pretty good strategy before each tourney. Maybe he's planning to target Swann with reverse sweeps/pulls
vvvslaxman Posted February 23, 2011 Posted February 23, 2011 How is this going to help him? Usually he has some pretty good strategy before each tourney. He is going to play reverse lofted shots :winky: . He generally prepares thoroughly. I am sure he has something up the sleeve.
flamy Posted February 23, 2011 Posted February 23, 2011 How is this going to help him? Usually he has some pretty good strategy before each tourney. it is not in ur place to ask :finger:

FairCricket Posted February 23, 2011 Posted February 23, 2011 England nearly survived against canada in warmup match and netherland in last match , but yet they talking like big giants , before that they lose to average ausies 6-1 , what a fake team . they will be exposed again ind,SA, even from NZ and BAN .
Zero_Unit Posted February 23, 2011 Posted February 23, 2011 That's some big words after their nice performance against NL. Or did they forget the grand opening we did with our batting in the WC against BD? BD has better bowlers then NL and we still managed to score that massive run compared to ENG where they coudn't even contain NL under 250. Put 2 together and I see a score of 400+ against ENG ;)

The Outsider Posted February 23, 2011 Posted February 23, 2011 LOL! What's with this random merging - I clicked to read about Tendulkar batting left handed and see the OP to be about his knee injury.
Sachinism Posted February 23, 2011 Posted February 23, 2011 What do you want him to say? Or to want? No need to get worked up about everything
