BANGALORE: Former England skipper Nasser Hussain is an outspoken man on most occasions, more so when he is on air doing commentary. But on Wednesday his rude side was seen at the Chinnaswamy stadium in Bangalore. If parking himself in the place marked for an Indian journalist in the press box wasn't bad enough, his insistence on eating his mid-innings meal inside the press box was worse. When a local official pointed it out to him and politely asked him to take the plate out and finish his meal as per press box etiquette, the man was just dismissed by the Madras-born Hussain with the words: "Ask Anil Kumble to tell me that." Kumble is the president of the KSCA. Worse was that he said what he had to say loud enough for others to hear. In the commentary box, he was very rude. When Kohli or Raina allowed a single, fielding in point/covers, he was fuming. Where does he get his airs like that? Just leave the judgemental comments to yourself and tell me what happened. I had to mute it whenever he came on. I didn't see the Ireland match fully, but I think his tone might be similar when the English were dropping catches.
