The batter Shafiq looked good yesterday. They have a great chance of making the Semis, Id back them to beat the Windies (likely oppos ), Frankly in hindsight its not THAT much of a surprise- theyre always good in these conditions. Fielding gradually getting there. Very useful spinners and good variety in the attack, Gul is a classy ODI operator. Batting still suspect but the Younis/Misbah middle order duo gives them some solidity.

their best spinner.. everyone knows its Ajmal (along with their captain). Rehman is a very defensive bowler. Write Akhtar off at your peril.. did you see another 'past sell-by date' pacer Lee single handedly taking the battle to Pak yest.. fast bowling is all about how much you have in the heart..

They are still not among the top 4 sides in the tournament for me . They are an OK team who done much better than expected , but I will be surprised if they can make semis or beyond that

They have definitely done great topping the group. They have also been able to maintain calm in tense situations However, IMO a bowling consisting of Razzak is not much to write home about and if Afridi and Gul have a bad day, they will be taken to the cleaners. Similarly the batting is not much to write home about. Their bowling will not be able to restrict opposition to low scores all the time. they do have the advantage of playing WI in the QF so good luck to them

I think they have done exceedingly well. It is a dangerous team on its day. It can get destroyed by Kiwis on one day and win against Aussies on the next day. I think they should make it to the semis which i fabulous effort considering the side which is not their best and what has transpired in last 1 year.

Lets put it this way - Expectation was too low! They are playing in conditions similar to home without the pressure of home crowd. In addition being in a group where only thing at stake was who they play in the QF. But credit that they didnt screw it up - while hate to say India did screw it up!

only thing they did well is beating AUS. beating SL was flunk. IMO NZ shows them where they belond. Over all an average performance. and i still say they suck until they reach into final. They have pathetic batting line up. You should not win world cup on this kinndda batting line up.

How is it a very slight edge when Pakistan have beaten Sri Lanka and Australia, two of the favorites for this world cup compared to West Indies who only won against the minnows. That does not mean that Pak will win against WI, because everyone knows our potential to collapse, but Pak are definitely well ahead and much better than WI in this WC as far as performance goes so far.

Pak Vs WI should be interesting. Both are inconsistent but one due to generally being inconsistent in all areas of the game and the other for depending too much on 3 players. Pak could easily have a horrible start when batting or Gul and afridi have an off day while bowling.Similarly Roach, Gayle and pollard may not do much on Wednesday. Pak defn. has the edge as WI hasnt won anything of note in the last couple of years and barring a great innings by Gayle and Pollard and incisive bowling by roach, pak should win this one easily.
