I opeend my twitter account yesterday rite during the start of the match and the first one was from Rohit saying "sehwag will be the man of the match" next i see, Sehwag slams 21 of Umar Gul. jkz aside, he will be the best replacement, playing in his homeground plus, good with spin. P.S - I am not a big fan of Rohit Sharma, unlike other folks here who die for him to be in the team.. So go easy on me you anti-rohit folks.

Its very risky getting a guy from outside the squad atm. Just may not be equal to the task. We need someone who has been a part of the journey to the finals. Outsiders may not quite appreciate the effort put in by others up until this point.

Sharma has decent stats vs sri lanka and good stats batting at number 4 he could come in early and just set things up for Yuvi and raina which is pretty much what gambhir and kohli have have been doing so far. On the other hand if Yuvi comes in at number 4 and even if he scores 50 or so and gets out chasing a large total we would be reliant on an out or form dhoni, plus hit or miss pathan to finish of the match or put up a good total. Putting Yuvi in the top order means Raina is the only major in form threat coming in after 4 and that could be risky. But hopefully it works out.

The only reason I think he could come in is because yuvraj is extemely valuable coming in at 5 because he can handle pressure better than dhoni, and pathan . Loosing him early in chase because he has to come in at four would be devastating. But the selecotors missed a trick by not giving Pujara a few matches before the world cup. Pujara averages 50+ in domestic 50 overs.
