I believe we need a foreigner for one more tenure. Then the latest generation of retired crickets like kumble, ganguly will be ready to coach. It would be fun to have Sachin as batting coach. :P
Agreed. One more foreign coach and then maybe Indians from next time around

We need a head coach and a bowling coach. Time to get some new bowlers in the team and guide them properly. No Venky Prasad 'Line & Length' guidance though..

Intikhab Alam, I say On a more serious note, Moody has been sitting idle for a while and should be up for the job. I alsi suspect Eric Simmons to apply for a promotion.

any south african, west indian or kiwi will do...i don't trust an Australian. some names that i can think of 1. Brian McMillan (SA) 2. Jhonty Rhodes (SA) 3. Stephen Fleming (NZ) 4. Allan Donald (SA) 5. Viv Richards (WI ...if he'd care) 6. John wright (NZ..if he'd like a 2nd stint) our very own Kapil Dev will also do I don't think an Aus or ENG coach pretending to" Take India to the next level" would work.

Jhonty Rhodes (SA) As a fielding coach, yes..but, THE coach? 3. Stephen Fleming (NZ) Has already declined the offer 4. Allan Donald (SA) NZ's bowling coach 5. Viv Richards (WI ...if he'd care) Don't know his credentials. 6. John wright (NZ..if he'd like a 2nd stint) With NZ our very own Kapil Dev will also do I don't think an Aus or ENG coach pretending to" Take India to the next level" would work.

I hope they manage to persuade Gary to stay on, but I think a break would do him some good so that he can be with his family. Your performance on the field is a reflection of what you are made of mentally, and the kind of guidance you receive in the dressing room, et al. Gary is a huge reason why we've come this far. Everybody loves him, it would be a blow if he left.

I think we can try Shamim choudhary or Athar ali khan.
Why not Rameez afterall he is a smart operator tough customer as cool as a cucumber and is always bulls eye:haha:
:hysterical::hysterical::hysterical::hysterical: I'd say Pollock seems like a good pick.
