New brash nationalism to go with each major India victory, as if to say F^Ck you world. We are India. The future is ours. Side with us , work on our terms or face tough times. BCCI toying around with the ICC. These things no doubt have caused alot of hidden/open dislike for India and BCCI. Teams already look forward to our downfall. We have not tasted success anything like the all conquering Aussie team did for 15 years. They were disliked towards the latter half of their dominance. We are already on the verge of being intensely disliked... Fact is we have the resources to rule for the rest of our lives as cricket is now spreading to rural areas in a massive way giving way to all the talent we have seen in the last few years..but we need goodwill from other countries and as an Indian I would love that other countries back us and not fear/hate our power. What say ?

You are right. There is a massive terror economy booming in India's neighborhood. It has captured the imagination of the entire world.

I saw Rajdeep Sardesai trying to get Viv Richards, Imran Khan, Duleep Mendis, Kirti Azad, and Alan Border to say that we are now the dominating force in world cricket Every one said the same thing.... we cannot be the dominating force unless we get more strike bowlers to support Zaheer. But Rajdeep being Rajdeep didnt cool down :dontknow:

You cannot deny 90% of ICC revenue is generated by BCCI. Yes there are lot of countries have better economies. They either don't play cricket or don't generate that much money.

Gives an impression that we are self-obsessed people lacking any kind of grace. Part of the problem is that after many years of being underdogs we as a nation are finding our voice so in our happiness are using it without any discrimination. Lack of education among a certain portion of population also contributes to the problem - stone throwing, burning stadiums or effigies are generally done by people who are educated.On the bright side, I think once we get more comfortable with our new status we will sober down.

I think we are just outpouring with nationalism as a country in every aspect and this is just rubbing the other cricket playing countries the wrong way. I think with time and if high profile victories become a more common place, the aam junta will get use to it and grace will follow.

Only way to be loved by every one is to be loser.When u win everyone is jealous of your success and naturally starts hating u. I would have India to be successful and hated rather than being loved with sympathy and loser like in 90's when we were a poor team.

If someone attacks India, they sensationalize and make a mountain our of a mole hill. Why the frack should be we care if xyz thinks bad about us? Ever seen the US ever getting upset about such attacks on the country? No...they just ignore it. Even allowed a movie like "New york" to be filmed and screened over there...I doubt if we would allow any movie based on Maoists or even the samjotha express to take off. This is where the media has to grow up. Even yesterday, they were yelling about Afridi's statement...arey frak him yaar...he is a nobody to us. Ignore.
