Ultimate_Game Posted April 8, 2011 Posted April 8, 2011 As long as India keeps on winning in the world cup I don't care what records Afridi and other players own. World champs baby and loving every second of it
Prakat Posted April 8, 2011 Posted April 8, 2011 Paki Fan: "Ek afridi sab pe bharee", "ek afridi sab pe bharee" bolte rahi, yeh toh aakhir mein hum pe hi bhari padh gaya! :hysterical:

BeautifulGame Posted April 8, 2011 Posted April 8, 2011 The record that can never be broken: The FIRST CRICKETER to score double hundred in ODI history.
pinkfreud Posted April 8, 2011 Posted April 8, 2011 4 overs of Piyush chawla to Yusuf pathan would do the job.. too bad they play for the same side :cantstop: :hysterical::hysterical: I don't think this record is impossible to break if guys like Yusuf Pathan and Kieron Pollard fire from the get go and don't throw away their wickets. Today's cricketers are far more capable of overturning this record than the players of yore. Hasnt Yusuf already broken this in the IPL? :agree:
Chalks Posted April 8, 2011 Posted April 8, 2011 The record that can never be broken: The FIRST CRICKETER to score double hundred in ODI history. Belinda Clark says hi. :P
cricketfan2010 Posted April 8, 2011 Posted April 8, 2011 B->:hatsoff: Listen at 7:45 :yay: Its breakable.. But 50 in 12 balls is nearly impossible.. For that you have start middling the sixes from ball 1. hundred in 37 balls will be broken.. but 12 in 50 against genuine pace may never be broken..
cricketfan2010 Posted April 8, 2011 Posted April 8, 2011 :hysterical::hysterical::hysterical::hysterical: Few more Afridi's unbreakable records : - Biggest Heart. - Most interviews by a losing captain. (For any captain for that matter. He has given more interviews than Dhoni) - Rate of giving condtraditory statements. :hysterical: Few more. - biting the big chunk of a cricket ball without any chutney or tomato catchup. - Stealing Freddie Flintoff's celebratory pose on cricket pitch. - Dancing gracefully on a cricket pitch without wearing ballerina shoes. - Player who bats in position 1 to 7 but has faced least number of balls per innings.. Swish, Switsh, Swing like rusty gate.. OUT... - Fastest to realise he is not meant for test cricket.. Captain for 1 match before self enlightenment prompts sudden retirement. -player who has managed to keep his place in team after so many failures with bat. (may be that should be a record for Pakistan selectors). His bowling may have improved recently but he was always a lousy batsman barring 1 good innings in about 40. Kamran Akmal is giving Afridi run for his money in that respect.

Dhruv200 Posted April 8, 2011 Posted April 8, 2011 These are the records will never be broken Most test centuries Most odi centuries Highest run scorer in tests and odis Highest individual score in odi.
Roshanrocks Posted April 8, 2011 Posted April 8, 2011 Afridi fastest 100 is impossible to break - Adam Gilchrist Finally some consolation for Pakistan fans
Switchblade Posted April 8, 2011 Posted April 8, 2011 Yusuf Pathan in IPL3 been there done that :winky: i have become u right now regarding this post:giggle:
Hell Raiser Posted April 8, 2011 Posted April 8, 2011 Good for Paki's that Gilly said that. After all the Paki's need something to hold onto in this difficult times. India have won the world cup, number 1 in tests. So Gilly made 170 million happy, now Paki's can brag about Afridi's 37 ball hundred. Carry on boys.
vvvslaxman Posted April 8, 2011 Posted April 8, 2011 Good for Paki's that Gilly said that. After all the Paki's need something to hold onto in this difficult times. India have won the world cup' date=' number 1 in tests. So Gilly made 170 million happy, now Paki's can brag about Afridi's 37 ball hundred. Carry on boys.[/quote'] Imagine them winning the world cup. :cantstop: . Good thing that didn't happen. Hype machines from Pakistan generally hypes someone even before he starts playing cricket. It would have been catastrophical.
Prakat Posted April 9, 2011 Posted April 9, 2011 Here's a good way to find out if the record is held by a person who deserves it or it was just a fluke that fell in the holder's lap by chance. What are the chances of the person doing it again?
achilles Posted April 9, 2011 Posted April 9, 2011 I think Afridi scored it by fluke. That is the first and last time he's looked threatening with the bat in hand
