Dada is cool! Damn the guy is neat and has a sly yet funny way of making his point. His chat with Sreesanth and then his insights into the gentleman-likeness of Rahul in the slips was cool. Then he spoke about how Laxman kicked him out of second slip position and that dem boys wouldn't allow him back in the slip cordon in spite of him being captain. The best was his dig at the younger slipper. Classic! They mentioned Ricky Pawning and Dada sez something like Pawning is over coz Slipper is in :haha:

It was really cool to see Wasim and Dada discussing a match, Delhi 99 test: Saurav speaks "We lost a few quick wickets when I joined Azhar in the middle. I asked "what's happening?". He replied, "You find out". The first ball was an awayswinger, I thought. Played forward defensive. The ball went between my legs to fine leg. At the end of the over I asked Azhar, "What was that? That looked like an outswinger, but came in." Azhar says, "That's what I am thinking for the last 20 min. I don't know what's happening, hope you will." After another hairraising over, we devised a plan. Wasim used to shield the ball from the batsman, but the runner had a view. So we decided that the runner would hold the bat in the direction the ball was exppected to swing. It didn't work, and we lost Azhar. Then I decided I would play everything for inswing. He is swinging the ball so much thata if it is awayswinger or even a straight ball, I would miss it by at least 6 inches. If I played for an outswinger and got an inswinger, I would have been in trouble. Less danger this way." Wasim: I remember. I beat you every other delivery for 3-4 overs. He was playing for inswing on every ball. He got under my skin totally. Bowled a few at his head. Sourav: When Wasim started bowling bouncers, I felt relieved... I knew I had gotten him annoyed and rattIed... might even survive the session Long time since I have enjoyed the commentary so much.

I love the he shares his experience when he was part of the team. Yesterday Alan Wilkins asked him about how Sachin used to talk to him if he would get beaten by a good delivery. Dada replied "He would come to me and tell me something in bengali like - kEMANASO.. TOUCH NA KAR.(let it go). I had to tell him to not to confuse me and speak only in English since his bengali wasn't that good":haha:

Yeah! That whole show during tea had me smiling all the while that the cheeks actually hurt a little...no kidding! The smile came back during the end of the day show and I am still smiling thinking about it :--D
