WC 96 Semi Final - I was disappointed we lost but watching Kambli cry made me lose it. 99 Chennai Test - Sachin making a great century and yet our tail couldnt cross the line. I dont think I will ever cry when India loses in my life again. The feeling was different back then. Much more passionate and pure.
you mean to say the same passion amongst indians dont exist anymore? thats sad

not on any defeat but I had tears in my eyes when Dada retired.
I had wet eyes...not really tears but very heavy emotions during that whole series...Jumbo and Dada retired - it felt like a part of my youth was going. I mean I grew up along side these fellows...my own success in life has great correlation with these fellows' success more so that of Sachin and Kumble. I was imagining that day what emotions I'll go thru when Sachin plays his last game (surely Lax and Dravid will retire before him). I think everyone from my generation would be having similar feelings.

I'm not talking about others. The game is probably even more popular now. I'm saying I used to follow the game a lot more when I was a kid, kinda like a die hard fan and looked up to these cricketers as role models(maybe only Sachin:--D). Now I do watch cricket when I get the time and feel happy whenever they win but that's about it.

What to say I am a very emotional person Cried/Emotional outbursts Vs Pak 99 Chennai,Sharjah match where A.Javed took 7 wickets(I was in 5-6th standard I think) Vs Srilanka-When they made like 300 or something and we were allout for less than a 100(I think it was in Sharjah too),96 WC SF,2007 WC where we were knocked out Vs Bang 2007 WC Vs Aus 2003 WC Final Kapil Paaji's retirement when he was dropped in 1994 after I think it was lambert who went after him. Dada being stripped of captaincy and then dropped unjustly Tears of Joy:1992-2011 WC'S vs Pak(including T20 WC final as well),2011 WC win,2011 T20 Yuvraj's innings vs Eng and then Aus,SRT's 200*-Dhoni almost gave me tears of sadness that day,2004 Jeetlo Dil test and ODI Series,

NO! When I lived in India, we would play cricket in my friend's back yard after every Indian loss. Kinda try to consolidate the lack of runs/wickets on our own. It helped us relieve the depression.

That match was seriously hyped. I can understand what it must have done to a Pakistan fan.

If you think that the BCCI think forward then.... lol Probably better to emulate the South African cricket board. They're not as up themselves as the ECB and ACB, yet they're very efficient and do the best for their players.

It's all comparative. BCCI did brilliantly well after India and Pakistan found themselves in similar disasters after both got knocked out early from world cup 2007. BCCI made some key decisions and India went on to become the world no1 test team and now the ODI world champions. Pakistan on the other hand explored further lows and PCB demonstrated some unbelievable incompetency. We may not like BCCI for certain reasons, but they have also done a few things right.

In the recent weeks all the criticism is clouding the positives that the BCCI have actually done for Indian cricket.
