Now take a look at the design Apple is getting patented: That looks like just any other tablet in the market. Apple already paid licence fees to Nokia, also need to pay Koadak.. HTC paying money to MS...it's rumored that MS makes more money from Android compare to their own Windows mobile version :winky: Google buying Motorola, Apple ,MS and other companies Joint Bid for Norton all for these patent battle only..

No, whats funny is that Apple, which was once MS's biggest critic over copyright, patent issues is going down the exact same path now that they are themselves making the big money. When MS did it, it was monopolistic murder of competition, when Apple does it, it's all fair? That is hypocrisy.

As for other companies copying Apple it happens blatantly and Apple is completely right to sue the sh!t out of these idiots who can't design their own products.

The freaking GUI that you so much love on your MacBook was copied off Xerox. Jobs almost went broke trying to copy the GUI's he was shown at Xerox, so much so, that he was booted off his team and forced to join some other team instead. Apple complaining about patent violations is as laughable as the Saudi's complaining about human right abuses.

A naive user may not know the difference between a Galaxy Tab and an iPad. Therefore, making it similar looking may trick users to buy their products.

Therefore, making it similar looking may trick users to buy their products. Generally, that wouldn't suffice for the court to order an injunction or a temporary restraining order. Because the onus lies with the naive customer in that case. It has to be shown that the parent company (Samsung in this case) is deliberately plotting to get customers confused and is tricking them to buy their products instead of Apple products which look similar.
