Guys what do You think he is earning millions with no improvement or planning for our bowlers better we give money to a indian coach.every commentators are saying indians have no bowling plans ,when venky was our coach he was so determined he used to make bowlers bowl at full steam at nets and stood their as umpire for them,we bowled Cross Seam Deliveries to get more bounce and ruff of the ball,we used to plan for batsman ,ishant developed a slower ball with help of venky,go on and on ,he was sacked due to failure in t20 worldcup where our batsman failed .

Anybody except simmons will do,the guy does not international experience ,not great in fc either, limited coaching experience and he gets the job

No matter who you bring.. our pace bowlers are going to regress coz of overload. Lesson learned. Good Test match bowlers should just play tests. No ODIs, No T20s. The way BCCI organizes ODI schedule and IPL schedule, they will break down sooner than later. Also there is no real desire for them to learn new skill and improve their fitness.

^+ And test monies should match IPL contracts at least for this to be fair to talented bowlers who can hack it at the highest level and will let them stay focused on it.

Commentators have routinely said in the first two tests that guys like PK are bowling a containing line to restrict the flow of runs. 2. They also remarked that Ishant was at numerous times bowling into Cook's pads because Cook has a tendency to lean over too much when we dismissed Cook cheaply in the first two tests. 3. It's also been routinely pointed out that PK bowled welll behind the crease to counter KP batting out of his. 4. And Finally Prasad himself said that Ishant was the one who bowled hard in the nets and he couldn't force other bowlers to bowl with intensity and for longer than 20 minutes in practice because their attitude and commitment was lacking. With Simmons we've seen Ishant come back to better form, PK taking the next step in Tests, and Munaf improving dramatically in ODI cricket. He doesn't deserve all the credit of course but to put some like of misplaced blame on the bowling coach is completely avoiding the fact that there's been some idiotic selection (of Sree/RP when they're not fit) and a complete lack of committment by clowns like Sree.

Are you nuts, commentators have been saying indian bowlers have no plan ,just now in cricket extra they are saying the same thing and you do not need them to show you that, 1.praveen bowling containing line is no plan but result of accuracy,he cannot bowl bouncers and cannot be attacking bowler so he is doing his job. 2.ishant did not get line right ,and after getting cook out sameway you do not need bowling coach to tell. Ishant was dropped and he worked with his coach and munaf has improved surely under simmons.but that about it.venky atleast made them bowl 20 min simmons does not care and we should sack him as he was just kirstens friend so got the job.

The imaginations in your head have no bearing on the reality of what's actually happening.

Sree just served up some more medium pace garbage right after lunch. 4 overs, 5 boundaries and no ball. MUST be Simmons fault. On the other hand Ishant Sharma is still bowling his heart out, with pace, bounce, and beating the batsmen, moving the ball in with good wrist position. I guess that must just be coincidence and nothing to do with Simmons. :haha:

Why do most Indian fans want old coaches/players back? Why not try some new players/coaches. How about Wasim Akram as our bowling coach, now he'll make our bowlers work their asses off.

I told you before Indian coach should be Stephen Fleming and bowling caoch should be Andy Bichel.
 Who let this Circus Fan in ?

I will like Akram as our bowling coach. Srinath will be better if he gets into some power into BCCI. We need smart & passionate towards cricket type administrator. Kumble is getting there....but he needs much much help. Srinath, Ganguly & others can get in there & give him those help. For too long BCCI priorities have been where else to make those extra multi million dollars & how to boss all other cricket countries.

I doubt Wasim will take the position..No matter who the coach is, there is nothing that can be done with these 70 MPH guys.. Wasim wouldn't want to mess up his legacy. I also believe he wont' be a great coach. Just coz he he was a great player, doesn't mean he will be a good coach either. He hasn't done much with KKR.
