nsareen Posted August 21, 2011 Posted August 21, 2011 I do not feel there is a right team, with a right balance, in the ODI squad selected. Unless there are 4-5 replacements, sehwag,rp singh, amit mishra vinay kumar, and even praveen kumar as he is injured. Even if they bring new players. that would not help them win the ODI series, which i feel is already lost, atleast there would be new energy which would step in the team, which would help the tired players off loading their imaginary workload to the younger lot, atleast there would be some fight, which would give us hope that one or two would go on and establish themselves. Atleast we would save our selves from another humiliation. History is proof, bringing in young players, has a +ve impact on the intensity with which the game is played. It's important when the already existing players have lost faith and confidence in themselves.
Trichromatic Posted August 21, 2011 Posted August 21, 2011 Indian fans have sucked at making prediction on this tour.
nsareen Posted August 21, 2011 Author Posted August 21, 2011 Indian fans have sucked at making prediction on this tour. Well my prediction comes from the facts, -- India with their full strength Team, Under Home Conditions could not beat England in the world cup. Saved the game by some good luck. -- India has been destroyed in the test series, to an extent that they have stopped putting a fight. -- The effect of such a loss would take an effect on all the players currently in the squad, even if they are not playing, would be aware of the surrounding, happenings in the dressing room, and by the looks of it, you do not want to be in that Indian Dressing Room. -- Things are very bleak, it's better to make the ODI series a way to expose the youngsters against, an already emerged top team, and we all know from past, the indian team plays best when they have little or no expectations on them. The burden to win all the time, does have a dampening effect.
asterix Posted August 21, 2011 Posted August 21, 2011 Not only loss, a proper whitewash is on the cards now for a demoralised captain and his team..Dhoni is preoccupied in 'lifting' something else which is more of a concern to him, so 'lifting' the moral of the team is out of question..
Jayaram_IND Posted August 21, 2011 Posted August 21, 2011 Please guys support our team.I am still confident and wish them luck.
Andy Posted August 21, 2011 Posted August 21, 2011 Series loss is an Under statement. I predict 5-0 loss.
Ultimate_Game Posted August 21, 2011 Posted August 21, 2011 Don't really care about odi series. Odis only matter in case of World Cup or a few important tourneys, else they are meaningless.
Laaloo Posted August 21, 2011 Posted August 21, 2011 Can someone ban this idiot OP? I'm surprised he wasn't banned after the pathetic thread he made accusing dhoni's wife of sleeping with RP and PK or something

If Indian batsmen can play the short ball well, it will be a good contest.
Rahul Dravid Posted August 22, 2011 Posted August 22, 2011 im banking on you know who, and i also hope he opens.. since sehwag not gonna be there... gambhir fitness.... and all that taken into account. i think you know who will again get alot of runs... a couple centuries.. and if our bowlers can bowl... which i doubt.. we should win a couple of games atleast !
gaurav92 Posted August 22, 2011 Posted August 22, 2011 The OP is not Ponka so he can have a :finger:, only Ponka can make such predictions.
