I just spent a sh!tload of money last night buying lorry-loads worth of drinking water, lots of foods thats last without getting spoilt and some emergency medicine supplies. I even did all my laundry at 2 last night in case the power goes in the coming days. And it hasnt rained an inch so far here. In fact, its probably the best day of summer so far to go out - Pleasant, around 75 degrees and cloudy.

nothing I was just saying because Irene will have some impact in Philadelphia. I'm assuming you live around that area because there's a huge desi population around that area. Fairless hills, bethelem, philly all have huge desi population

Spent lot of money. Bought a 80 dollar Gas stove too incase electricity goes, which off course would. After buying the gas stove, had to search all over the place for propane gas bottle. None of them had a little bottel which we can use for a day or two. All had the big massive 60 dollar cylinder. Who NEEDS that. Also plenty of money spent on Doritos, other random chips, pringles and water. It's like picnic here. I will post vids and pics I clicked. People have gone insane as if world is coming to an end.

Is this one of the those "ch**na kum chilaana zyada" hurriacanes yet
Yes. Very true. Last I was watching news, I heard that speed has gone down a bit, so it was good for us, but now I hear again from people and they telling me that it's going to feel more crazy than what they were initially telling.
