Cricketics Posted August 26, 2011 Posted August 26, 2011 Haven't seen anything like this yet. From what I am hearing this is going to be the biggest storm to hit mid atlantic region. Never thougght we would get to see hurricane in this region but it's coming. CAT 2 Warning. Evacuation has already started in North Carolina. Major warning in 5 places - NEW YORK, NEW JERSEY, MARYLAND, VIRGINIA and North Carolina. Hope all stay safe. This weekend is going to be very testing for most of the people in that region.
punjabi_khota Posted August 26, 2011 Posted August 26, 2011 I was planning to go biking(cycle) in cape cod. Still might go on saturday

Alchemist Posted August 26, 2011 Posted August 26, 2011 Be safe for all the east coast people. Been in Katrina and Ivan. Not a good thing to be in. Pretty sure by this time authorities would have told people what to do. From my personal experience though, do the following: - Buy Candles - Water - Bread (survived on this for a day or two) - Milk if you want. But with probablity of Electricity shuting down, it goes bad in no time. - Toilet paper and paper towels. - Flash light. Hope this helps.
