I don't think Hussain's comment had anything to do with race as he himself acknowledges his south-asian heritage time and time again. I don't know why posters like Serani have to bring in their knowledge about India living in their little bubble where their only history lesson comes from watching Indiana Jones and Slumdog Millionaire. As far as racial sensitivity on the cricket field goes I have seen a lot of offensive posters during India's tour of SA 96 where there were a lot of derogatory play on words on Indian players' names. Indians and Pakistani players have constantly been subjected to racist taunts by Aussies and English for years now. If any British fans think players like Mike Gatting,Ian Botham,Alan Lamb,Mike Atherton are the most racially tolerant people they need to get their heads examined.
