If RPS can make comeback and medicore bowlers like vinay (not even young) play for india, then why not ajit can make a comeback. For some many people in ICF obsessed with pace, ajit used to bowl with decent pace ( more than 140 kmph regularly). He was a decent out fielder with decant arm. (Lot better than RP in this aspect). He has a decent bouncer and no mug with bat. By looking at this post, some people might think that i am a fan of ajit. But i never used to like him but looking at current lot, i am starting feeling that he could be a decent option, right now. Now that, he is more experienced than b4, he could be better.

Agarkar is/was one of better fast bowlers we have produced . The guy was not handled well . Now if you watch him in Ranjis , u can see that hes smartned up ..still bowls at good pace .

Agarkar's stats aren't that bad for ODI's but we always forget that he used to be good for few games and be utter rubbish later. Was never consistent and anyway no use bringing back him now, we need to try and test young bowlers.

Agarkar, ultimate choker under pressure. This man with all his phasst bowling tailunt has singlehandedly lost numerous games for India.Though he had the ability to bowl inswinging yorkers but he was very very inconsistent. P.S: Please read this Agarkar joins ICL :cantstop:

Agarkar may well have been wildly inconsistent but in terms of talent he is head & shoulders above the current talentless garbage. The likes of Vinay Kumar & Minaf Patel could probably play 288 games each and still not match Agarkar's wickets. What's even sadder is that at his age he is still fitter than the likes of the above.

Agarkar is a very under-rated cricketer...Never understood why he got so much hate here...Can still be an asset in T20 and ODI's Much better option than Munaf,Nehra,RP,Vinay and also Sree,Ishanth in ODI's and PK in subcontinent...that is all our fast bowling resources atm.
