Rightarmfast Posted October 14, 2011 Author Posted October 14, 2011 [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KMQQxadCGao]Pace bowling - YouTube[/ame] I am posting the link. You guys can check this video. This one is ok. I will have to make some better videos for him, go and shoot again.
eternalhope Posted October 14, 2011 Posted October 14, 2011 Side on action and he is using rotational force(whole body rotation) to generate that pace. Very impressive, I guess he needs strong core to avoid injury and he definitely is a strong lad. A raw uncut diamond, I guess ICF should take up his case in promoting him.
eternalhope Posted October 14, 2011 Posted October 14, 2011 One other proposal, I don't mind contributing some money to a fund to help these guys. I propose the ICF admins to take initiative in this matter and I am pretty sure it will turn out to be significant.

Rightarmfast Posted October 15, 2011 Author Posted October 15, 2011 /\ :two_thumbs_up: And vijay sharma bhai, I have uploaded this video for the time being. I will have to go and record him more which I will do . it will be interesting to see how he bowls on a lively pitch with a new ball ! Good observation about the bounce and the pace !
msb1991 Posted October 15, 2011 Posted October 15, 2011 Would money be better spent on a speed gun? If we can get evidence of this guy bowling 90mph, then it could really get him places.
Rightarmfast Posted October 15, 2011 Author Posted October 15, 2011 Speed guns are really expensive. What we can do is, with that money , buy him practise shoes and other sports gear and maybe some books on fast bowling. And then get him to some place like NCA or MRF academy where he can atleast check his pace. I am dying to know as to how can he get into MRF academy. And he was clocked 2 yrs back when he was playing in Kolkatta. He was clocked at 142...That was 2 yrs back !
rkt.india Posted October 15, 2011 Posted October 15, 2011 Awesome proposal Bhai ! Hats off !:hatsoff::hatsoff::hatsoff::nice::nice: I am in...I will pool in as much money as required if ppl initiate this ! Thing is the proper planning to promote him in cricketing circles. Unless we know how to do it, money won't solve any purpose and if we get to know how to take his case further, we may not need much money to spend. It is all about contacts which we can make or derive through various sources while making proper good videos of his bowling is also an important aspect of the promotion. You should talk to him and let him know what do you think about him and what are you planning.

HE will have to go there and give a trial.
MCcricket Posted October 15, 2011 Posted October 15, 2011 If you shoot his bowling using a high speed camcorder, you can actually calculate speed thru FPS I believe , GUYS i CALCULATED THE SPEED FOR HIS 1 DELIVERY IT WAS 144 MPH.From the time the ball left his hand to the time it took to get to the batsmen was about .5 second that is about 22 yards or 20 meters.I might be wrong just did that as a lark. You guys can use windows movie maker open the file and go frame by frame and you'll can calculate. So if you can minus 2 meters approx for the crease to crease length, approx .5 second to cover the area, he is bowling close to 138 to 144 kph I compared this to calculate Umesh Yadavs 140 kph DELIVERY AND MAYBE THIS KID WAS SLIGHTLY FASTER.Once again I might be wrong u guys can try it out.
Rightarmfast Posted October 15, 2011 Author Posted October 15, 2011 is that true ' date=' i cant believe he is being wasted :wall:[/quote'] That is indeed true ! This is India ! @ Blue Panther - I will pm you with the plan !
Rightarmfast Posted October 15, 2011 Author Posted October 15, 2011 @Rightarmfast : Do you full profiles of these bowlers? I didnt get you ...Can you be a little more specific. I am not able to understand what you are asking..

Pretty interesting ! Thanks for that MCC ! Although I have not done this but if you have compared this with Umesh's delievery then you might just be close to his pace. And thats really good pace ! I must say that this kid did not disappoint us as some of us initially thought . I am going to chalk out a plan for his promotion and share with you people. I need to talk to him first. Must also mention that one of our member here, Vijay sharma has been so generous enough as to ready to pay for his shoes and his trip to NCA. This is really noble Vijay ! I will contact you, however we will save yours and our money for the time when its really needed. In the meantime, if you people have contacts with cricketers or influential people and some ideas as to how to promote Rehan, please share. As of now, I am liking what RKT has suggested.
ChanaLal Posted October 16, 2011 Posted October 16, 2011 ...send them to Haryana so Pont can work with them. HCA are launching speed bowling camp
