Akthar Jason Gillespie ? waqar was slower.

i really wanna know how many fast bowlers bowled seering yorkers at 145+ Akthar surely did, i remember seeing Lara get bowled by him. Waqar did too but he was slower than 145.

Bowling yorker is practice and it does not come naturally because it needs extra effort to bowl a yorker. Until they practice in the nets methodically, they wont bowl it consistently accurate. Every format of cricket requires different variations and yorker is must for T20 and ODIs. A fast bowler can be predictable in tests, it will work for him to bowl one line and length, but one has to vary in shorter formats and yorker plays an important role in that.

Only Holding and Marshall out of these 4 were quick. Clarke and Garner were fast mediums, not express. I guess Bishop, Patterson, and Holding were the quickest WI bowlers. But fist 1`00 mph bowler was Jeff Thomson, not Waqar. Waqar was no where close to Thomson. Regarding Akram, he was never express, say around 140-145 and Would say Waqar could bowl around 145-150ish.
