Old guy Posted October 13, 2012 Posted October 13, 2012 tbf' date='he was swinging the ball n kept it tight.[/quote'] and these things dont depend on quality of opposition ..just ur own skill
kubrickian Posted October 13, 2012 Posted October 13, 2012 Umesh Yadav has the qualities to be a good bowler, maybe even a great bowler but on Indian pitches, its impossible for him to be effective. Its unfair to expect too much from him or from other pacers. Only bowlers like Zaheer who learn how to set up batsmen, try to use swing and seam movement and bowl smartly with experience can be a little effective.

Crookbond Posted October 13, 2012 Posted October 13, 2012 tbf' date='he was swinging the ball n kept it tight.[/quote'] I would argue he was allowed to - Hayden would have stepped down and deposited that over mid wicket. The next you know Yadav drops it short and then he cuts him for four. I am not denying he was swinging or kept it tight. I am contesting that this performance does not mean he has got control for ODIs and Test matches.

Can we expect him to not go at more than 5 RPO in every game he plays?

I was talking about Irfan, yes he was allowed but only after Gambhir got out trying to attack him.also if a batsman attacks n gets the bowler in pressure, fairplay to him.we hv bowlers who bowl all over the place anyway
Crookbond Posted October 13, 2012 Posted October 13, 2012 Gambhir's shot was a nothing shot. These days he looks like a girl being fondled and when he does not, he makes every opportunity to get himself run out.
PaceAttack Posted October 13, 2012 Posted October 13, 2012 Lol, Look at these people. Unbelievable. These guys would not support a pace bowler in spite of good performance. I bet these folks would have never tried to bowl fast in their life.

CG Posted October 14, 2012 Posted October 14, 2012 I doubt Hayden would step down against Yadav's pace on this track. Yeah yadav would have knocked his block off.
Crookbond Posted October 14, 2012 Posted October 14, 2012 I doubt Hayden would step down against Yadav's pace on this track. He would at least try to unsettle the bowler's length.
vishalvirsingh Posted October 14, 2012 Posted October 14, 2012 Irfan is in Full form.....full swing at 130 to 136 K pace with the new ball its a dangerous combination........
vishalvirsingh Posted October 14, 2012 Posted October 14, 2012 Abu nachim is way better than Dhawal why is he not playing for Mumbai Indians today ahead of dhawal
bajrang Posted October 14, 2012 Posted October 14, 2012 ya hayden will definitely step out against yadav, to prevent it dhoni will move up to stumps but then i think hayden will start sweeping and reverse sweeping yadav. cause u know we can totally predict how Hayden will play.
MCcricket Posted October 14, 2012 Posted October 14, 2012 Abu nachim is way better than Dhawal why is he not playing for Mumbai Indians today ahead of dhawal Abu Nechim def better then Dhawal, it is a surprise he is not there also with excellent clt20 last year, CSK , MI suck .
