rkt.india Posted October 18, 2011 Posted October 18, 2011 They are good enough to be cocky in Tests. In ODIs they fancied their chances against India without Sachin, Viru, Yuvraj, Zaheer. If it was full strength side they would not have said it. Also take a look at our second string bowling attack. On paper it is weak. But all bowlers have stepped up. Even our first string bowling attack is hopeless.
nanda14792 Posted October 18, 2011 Posted October 18, 2011 a simple thing....11 donkeys cant beat the indian tigers
vvvslaxman Posted October 19, 2011 Posted October 19, 2011 Not sure they are good enough in tests awya from home but that is a different issue! In Odis they have not proved themselves even in England when we were without our key players all the games were tight despite the 3-0 loss lots of DL results plus a tie and a rained out game we would have won! Here we have creamed them with a young team 2 games running! To be fair to BUMBLE he just tweeted me "Prediction was right just got the wrong team"! They murdered Australia in Australia.. I don't think India can ever do that.
singhprakash72 Posted October 19, 2011 Posted October 19, 2011 They murdered Australia in Australia.. I don't think India can ever do that. That's my issue...even if we beat Eng at Home say 2-0 or 3-0 that will not make us superior (may be equal) to England. India needs to go to next level ...meaning beating Aus,SA and Eng in their home with some margin. If you look till 2000 India was content to draw matches in these countries and since 2002 we have won some test matches but we are yet to beat them in series soundly (at least SA & Aus) and also with some authority.
mysterio86 Posted October 19, 2011 Posted October 19, 2011 They murdered Australia in Australia.. I don't think India can ever do that. We are 2 times World Champion, I dont think Angrej will ever be :hatsoff:
say2chander Posted October 19, 2011 Posted October 19, 2011 He has already regretted that on twitter. Now saying " My prediction was right, but chose the wrong team." I don't think India will win 5-0 though.

It'll take time though, our progression to no.1 was so quick because of Aussie down fall not because we became a ruthless team overnight. I have high hopes from youngsters who'll soon take up the trio's place in test team.
Trichromatic Posted October 19, 2011 Posted October 19, 2011 They murdered Australia in Australia.. I don't think India can ever do that. India? No team can defeat other teams by innings in 3 matches at opposition's home, then 3 huge defeats to no 1 team even in their own backyard.
dragonfly Posted October 20, 2011 Posted October 20, 2011 11 reasons why England could lose this series 5-0: AN Cook C Kieswetter IJL Trott KP Pietersen SR Patel JM Bairstow TT Bresnan GP Swann ST Finn JW Dernbach
Dhoni_fan Posted October 20, 2011 Posted October 20, 2011 They murdered Australia in Australia.. I don't think India can ever do that. To be fair India have run Australia close in Australia and that was against, far superior Australia teams to what England face last winter!
SachDan Posted October 20, 2011 Posted October 20, 2011 @greigtalks (mofo Tony) Thanks for the nudge but no point in commenting on Ind v Eng told you weeks ago it would be 5/0. Ind great at home useless in Eng Aus and SA Old bald man is suffering from selective amnesia!
NareshK Posted October 20, 2011 Posted October 20, 2011 @greigtalks (mofo Tony) Thanks for the nudge but no point in commenting on Ind v Eng told you weeks ago it would be 5/0. Ind great at home useless in Eng Aus and SA Old bald man is suffering from selective amnesia! Here's why nobody takes this loser seriously. India won the previous test series in England 1-0 in 2007, drew the last series 1-1 against SA, drew 1-1 against Aus under Steve Waugh and lost 2-1 against Aus under Ponting out of which one was the controversial Sydney test. India's record both at home and overseas is the best next to the great Aussie side in the recent past. But of course, jealous losers cant accept that.
