Raghav_12 Posted October 18, 2011 Posted October 18, 2011 It's sickening. How anyone of these witnesses can talk of being human?

Asim Posted October 18, 2011 Posted October 18, 2011 Lets not use this incident to arrive at a decision about chinese in general. it was not a result of any street fighting incident, kid was not any criminal, not any militant, not any adult... just a 2 year old kid yar... and I believe you should treat a kid even of your worst enemy just like your own kid... and not 1 but 2 vans did the same act... not 1 but around a dozen of people passed around... not a few seconds but more than 7 minutes passed... Yes, I will seriously doubt them "in general"...
akshayxyz Posted October 18, 2011 Posted October 18, 2011 @cc I have to agree ( from what I have seen so far - amount of WTF stuff from Japan, china.. and staying in South Korea) China/Japan/Chinks-in-general have very very different sense of humor, and sensibilities - in general.
nikred Posted October 18, 2011 Posted October 18, 2011 Not valuing life in general, feeding on cats, dogs, basically they seem to have different senisbilities than most.. For a guy who eats meat, I guess I can't wrong anyone for eating cats and dogs. :nervous:
Tiger80 Posted October 18, 2011 Posted October 18, 2011 Video Chinese girl killed after hit by 2 cars. Passers-by totally indifferent! http://www.infowebexplore.com/2011/10/18/video-chinese-girl-killed-after-hit-by-2-cars-passers-by-totally-indifferent/ China proved to be a merciless country! One billion people, shocked by the following images (scroll down for videos). Outrageous case in China, where a 2-year-old girl died because of peopleÃÔ stunning indifference. Two cars hit her and the child agony was ignored by no less than 18 passers-by. Any of them could have given a helping hand and a chance for life. Images captured by a surveillance cameras are shocking. The gruesome incident took place on a busy street in Guangzhou Foshan. A minibus fully-hits the 2-year-old chinese girl. After impact, the driver shows apparent signs that he will slow down but no way, however. He continues his drive and also the rear wheels of the vechicle pass over the child. No one walking or biking back and forth along the market did not intervene. One after another, pedestrians and cyclists just passed near the wounded body. But none threw more than an indifferent look to the child and to the surrounding blood pool. Shockingly another car approaches and runs over the already injured girl. And from that moment she did not make any move. Nobody cared about her situation until, finally, a woman tried to make her stand. She saw that the girl is inert and moved her off the road among some bags of goods. That was all. In the end the mother came, took the girl in her arms and left in a hurry. It was anyway too late. Indifference of 18 passers-by already condemned the 2-year-old to death. She survived a few hours, then died in hospital [ame= child got hit by car twice in China. 18 people ignoring it! - YouTube[/ame]
CSK Fan Posted October 18, 2011 Posted October 18, 2011 Not valuing life in general, feeding on cats, dogs, basically they seem to have different senisbilities than most.. 7LeuQcsj-2w How the feck is feeding on cats, dogs any different from feeding on chicken or cows? Is it because west keep them as pets? This is the very definition of hypocrisy
coffee_rules Posted October 18, 2011 Posted October 18, 2011 How the feck is feeding on cats' date=' dogs any different from feeding on chicken or cows? Is it because west keep them as pets? This is the very definition of hypocrisy[/quote'] Yes it is no different if they keep pigs and cows at home as pets, give them names and later eat them as dinner.
Vijay.Sharma Posted October 18, 2011 Posted October 18, 2011 I had a minor accident only once' date=' when I hit a pig (yes, I managed to find a pig on the middle of the road) while riding a bike. My jeans ripped and I had only minor injuries. But what surprised me was the way people in the surrounding reacted. Two guys helped me to a chair in a nearby roadside stall, and the owner offered me a glass of water. I still have faith in my countrymen.[/quote']When I was in my 10th standard I had a similar incident. I was riding the cycle and was in my own world...a man was crossing the street and I banged into him and fell down. The man started to scream at me but while falling the handle poked me in my solar plexus and I was having difficulty in breathing. The moment the man saw I was finding it difficult to breathe, he started to rub my back. He ensured that I was fine, went to the first house on the street, asked them for water, gave it to me. And after making sure all was fine, he said in a nice fatherly way "keep your eyes on the road while driving". Having said that, I also feel that if it was a poor kid in my place maybe he wouldn't have got the same care. Akki's post of the article reflects reality in many ways. I think as a society we can be very agnostic to the mishaps of some while we can behave totally differently when it's others. it reminds me of another incident a few years ago. I was teaching my ex-wife the yamaha. As usual, first ride...gear sudden release and accelerator full on....I was the pillion and got off (lol) and she went and banged into the gate of a house. This was around 9 PM and it's a residential area. Hearing the huge noise the owner of the house opened the door. He first saw me and I was like "sorry" but he was in no mood to forgive. Then he looked down to see me wife...white girl and suddenly the anger goes away and he asks "are you alright?"
Vijay.Sharma Posted October 18, 2011 Posted October 18, 2011 I don't like to generalize but there seems to be something very wrong in Chinese culture and their obvious lack of compassion - e2vCW-D-24UThis happens even in India...just this year I have seen NDTV and News X report at least 10 cases of mobs beating the living day lights out of people...for what? for stealing (or allegedly stealing) a piece of bread. It's like public wants to vent their entire life's frustration on some poor fellow. Cops themselves do it...dragging them on the road by their hair, tie them up and beat them blind in an open market
Rajiv Posted October 18, 2011 Posted October 18, 2011 Its been a tough day, I can't stop thinking abt this tragedy
coffee_rules Posted October 18, 2011 Posted October 18, 2011 ^true, it's affecting so much personally, Came home and hugged everybody home (kids, wife) and I still can't stop thinking about that girl. I am glad it is not somebody I know, but thinking about her mom, I am heart broken, ...like the day I watched that video when the family of 5 were swept away in the waterfall...
MonishaSarabhai Posted October 18, 2011 Posted October 18, 2011 oh my God. i'm not gonna watch the video, but i'm so shocked to read that the 2nd driver just ran over the girl... just like that. i mean we all have heard many times about hit-and-run cases, people being oblivious to others' pain... but this was most shocking.
Texy Posted October 18, 2011 Posted October 18, 2011 worst country on earth....scumbag ppl Apparently, the main reason people don't help each other in China is because you have to pay for care in the hospital, and if you're the one who brought in an injured person, then people will automatically say you're the one who injured them because they don't have money to pay for it themselves
WC2011INDIA Posted October 18, 2011 Posted October 18, 2011 I don't know if I want to go to China now....... :((
mishra Posted October 18, 2011 Posted October 18, 2011 sheeeeeeeeeeet............. Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuukkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk....................... I couldnt watch the complete video
bihutoli Posted October 18, 2011 Posted October 18, 2011 I'm not going to watch the video. But I read through the description of the incident and it makes me sick to the stomach. I have a one and a half year old daughter for God's sake. I'm wondering what the parents must be going through! Unimaginable.
ganeshran Posted October 18, 2011 Posted October 18, 2011 Not only did the second driver run her over, even the first one ran her over with the back tyre after the accident. Sick B@stard.
Blue Panther Posted October 19, 2011 Posted October 19, 2011 Cudn't sleep properly last night. Still its bothering me, feel so numb.
