Moman211 Posted October 29, 2011 Posted October 29, 2011 Considering how well hes bowled in India, I was wondering if you guys think hes a world class bowler?
Sid Posted October 29, 2011 Posted October 29, 2011 Yes,he was impressive in the ODI series in England with his pace and was a stand out bowler on this tour as well, performing consistently in every match.
Serani Posted October 29, 2011 Posted October 29, 2011 Anyone that is that tall and quick is considered a world class bowler in my eyes. Still not sure he will make the test team though if everyones fit.
VRV Singh Posted October 29, 2011 Posted October 29, 2011 What is your definition of "world class"? Seems a bit of a stretch.
daryl1985 Posted October 29, 2011 Posted October 29, 2011 Not yet. I think he has to keep up this level of performance for a couple of series but his potential is immense. He has the ability to become the best bowler in the world. The only young bowler i have seen with more potential is Aamer. Pat Cummins is another with great potential but Finn is definitely ahead of him atm.
Clarke Posted October 29, 2011 Posted October 29, 2011 Can Ravindra Jadeja be considered a world class all rounder :nervous:
Manny_Pacquiao Posted October 29, 2011 Posted October 29, 2011 Can Ravindra Jadeja be considered a world class all rounder :nervous: of course, bruv. Anyone that can bat and can turn the ball is considered a world class all rounder in my eyes. Still not sure he will make the test team though if everyones fit.
MCcricket Posted October 29, 2011 Posted October 29, 2011 Too early to say that, he was the most threatening of the English bowlers in India, provided he remains fit and learns a few skills, he can be, not a Steyn or Zaheer right now skill wise.Certainly Fast, threatening the stumps all the time, batsmen I believe find hard to score runs , not loosing wicket to him.
Stuge Posted October 29, 2011 Posted October 29, 2011 nah !!! that was one off series for Finn .he is still yet to prove himself
achilles Posted October 29, 2011 Posted October 29, 2011 India always treats debutants and newcomers with respect. Flintoff found out that he could bowl well, only when he toured India. So I would wait for atleast a year before calling Finn world class.
rkt.india Posted October 29, 2011 Posted October 29, 2011 Too early to say that' date=' he was the most threatening of the English bowlers in India, provided he remains fit and learns a few skills, he can be, not a Steyn or Zaheer right now skill wise.Certainly Fast, threatening the stumps all the time, batsmen I believe find hard to score runs , not loosing wicket to him.[/quote'] He was better than Zaheer and Steyn in ODIs. I will take this kind of Finn any day over Tremlett.
J P K Posted October 29, 2011 Posted October 29, 2011 Can Ravindra Jadeja be considered a world class all rounder :nervous: :cantstop:
Stuge Posted October 29, 2011 Posted October 29, 2011 Can Ravindra Jadeja be considered a world class all rounder :nervous: he is NO 1 all rounder for us at the moment :)
gakgupta Posted October 29, 2011 Posted October 29, 2011 he is NO 1 all rounder for us at the moment :) we dont have any all-roúnders....so obviously..he is no:1
jairamesh Posted October 29, 2011 Posted October 29, 2011 Yes, if we rave about Aaron and Yadav after a few overs, then Steve Finn is a galaxy ahead of these guys.
ganeshran Posted October 30, 2011 Posted October 30, 2011 of course, bruv. Anyone that can bat and can turn the ball is considered a world class all rounder in my eyes. Still not sure he will make the test team though if everyones fit. :haha::haha:
