Sarkar Posted November 7, 2011 Posted November 7, 2011 BCCI has made it clear that it wont play Pakistan in a neutral venue. If a series has to happen it will happen as an India home series not a Pakistan home series which PCB believes is due to it because of the series which got cancelled after the 26/11 attacks. Man some how i dont feel right playing them i dont want to bring politics but do u think mumbaikars and whole of india has forgiven pak for its part in 26/11/.
deathmonger Posted November 7, 2011 Posted November 7, 2011 Man some how i dont feel right playing them i dont want to bring politics but do u think mumbaikars and whole of india has forgiven pak for its part in 26/11/. me too. but that is exactly the reason ppl would love to see a pakistan whitewash on indian soil (which is guaranteed).
Yoda-esque Posted November 7, 2011 Posted November 7, 2011 No Point in playing them unless their gov accepts their mistakes
punjabi_khota Posted November 7, 2011 Posted November 7, 2011 What was the reason they were 'not ready' earlier ? :hmmmm2: AFAIK, they refused after we refused because the "allah-ke-bande" sent some drugged up haraamis seeking 72 virgins to Mumbai.
Ram Posted November 7, 2011 Posted November 7, 2011 If the signs from the two foreign offices are any indication, a test series between the 2 countries is inevitable. But there's a genuine case for divorcing our cricketing relations from our diplomatic relationship. It seems to make no effin difference what we think about each other, whether we play cricket with each other or not. I remember after the 2003/04 Jeetlo Dil series, there were literally 1000s of Indian supporters going around the streets of Lahore (or was it Karachi), after we beat them, waving the Indian flags. Imran Khan came on tv and said he really did feel it was a watershed moment in India-Pakistan relations. And then the Mumbai massacre happened.

akshayxyz Posted November 7, 2011 Posted November 7, 2011 Okay, wait outside. You will be called, when your turn comes. Or Submit your resume at the reception, HR will get back to you.
Manny_Pacquiao Posted November 7, 2011 Posted November 7, 2011 pakis are thrusting out their begging bowls, hoping that india obliges. unfortunately for them, india doesn't need this series to take place at all. the cricket team has nothing to gain from beating a crappy side ranked lower than them - no points to be gained, no improvement from playing this kind of opposition. the media and public don't need to put up with the usual controversy that these pakis carry with them everywhere they go, and most of all, the board doesnt need the money from this chump change series when they have the IPL and bigger tours on the schedule already. pakis can keep playing their halaal tesht seriesh against sri lanka, banglardesh and zhinggabwe in their adopted arab homeland.
Utalk Posted November 7, 2011 Posted November 7, 2011 That's the life story of your team Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Trichromatic Posted November 7, 2011 Posted November 7, 2011 Where is the space in the FTP? This series won't happen. BCCI can't reschedule Ipl or asia cup.
Hur Rizvi Posted November 7, 2011 Posted November 7, 2011 No Point in playing them unless their gov accepts their mistakes can't you keep politics out of cricket....

Hur Rizvi Posted November 7, 2011 Posted November 7, 2011 Why not all subsequent series in India? We won't tour UAE. England is closed after what your boys did. And if you guys cite crowd reasons, there are hardly any crowds in UAE and won't it be easier to just cross the border to see your team lose rather than going to far away middle east to see them lose. plenty of costs saved. Obviously we are ready to tour India which should happen as soon as possible but India also should tour Pakistan's home venue (which is UAE for now) when FTP allows There will be crowds in India-Pakistan game anywhere it happens... UAE is our interim home there is no reason why all teams including India should refuse touring there....
Cricket Tragic Posted November 7, 2011 Posted November 7, 2011 This series won't happen. BCCI can't reschedule Ipl or asia cup. Yeah, looks like it.
Yoda-esque Posted November 8, 2011 Posted November 8, 2011 can't you keep politics out of cricket.... I apologize if I came across as being harsh. But consider this scenario : You have a neighbor. He has a little kid and you have a little kid.Its your kid's B'day party and you invite everybody including him for it. The party goes off well but later on, you realize that your neighbor has been bad-mouthing you behind your back to the rest of the guests and I mean, saying really horrible things about you. However,Hes all praises in front of you. Would you invite that neighbor the next time around ?You can't just invite the kid without inviting him as well. Its not his kid's fault but would you repeat the mistake? Think about it.
cowboysfan Posted November 8, 2011 Posted November 8, 2011 this looks its going to happen but things can change quickly in the court of public opinion, another attack and it will likely be be shelved.

Sir_Afridi Posted November 8, 2011 Posted November 8, 2011 Pakistan should play India at neutral venue or even in India. Indian team is on decline and this is good oppurtunity to extend our lead in overall tests & ODIs record.
