But its a typical Sorkin show - idealistic, preachy, having characters who absolutely love their job, like all their co workers very much, there would be a few love stories among the characters in the show and if you watch Sorkin's other shows then you would find that quite a few episodes/ideas are common on West Wing, Studio 60 and Sports Night. But still The West Wing is an incredible show and has had a pretty big impact and a LOT of things shown there have actually happened in US Politics since then. Pretty much like a sorkin TV series, except it was his first good one.So whatever we see/saw in west wing, news room and sunset boulevard, sports night did it first. Also my favorite sorkin show(probably because sports trumps politics, news and entertainment subject for me). Pity it lasted only a couple of seasons.

hhunaeh Posted November 25, 2013 Posted November 25, 2013 Does anybody here watch homeland? The 1st season was superb, the 2nd a disappointment, the 3rd is picking up and better than the 2nd but no where close to the 1st season. Watch the 1st season, its great.

Any recommendation on what season to focus on for Red John and not miss much?

The writing is freakishly awesome this time around
