Old guy Posted December 29, 2011 Posted December 29, 2011 lol over all i think ishant in that spell yesterday was the quickest
vishalvirsingh Posted December 29, 2011 Posted December 29, 2011 out of the 6 fastest balls...3 are indian balls.......we are Proud.
vishalvirsingh Posted December 29, 2011 Posted December 29, 2011 lol over all i think ishant in that spell yesterday was the quickest i appreciate his speed but i was shocked by seeing that a 152 K bowler got just 2 wickets in 2 innings on a helpful track............ ishu needs to Improve his line n length as he can get a fifer in each innings at this pace if he improves his line n length ( which are considered contraollables).......
rkt.india Posted December 29, 2011 Posted December 29, 2011 People said Ishant was clocked several times over 150K.
MCcricket Posted December 29, 2011 Posted December 29, 2011 Ishant has bowled fast , did cross 150 k atleast 4 to 5 times, he has to bowl fuller like the ball he bowled Clarke I think, also he needs to get some movement of the deck, Pattinson is a rookie but comparatively bowled far better then Ishant who is very experienced, hopefully he improves. To simplify things him aiming for the top of the off stump and getting his natural inswing, also bowling a good short ball to keep the batsmen from plonking the front food will be what he needs to do.

It is Zaheer rather...who was ineffective then.
peterparker Posted December 29, 2011 Posted December 29, 2011 It is Zaheer rather...who was ineffective then. 26/4 oz..not great against moving wall..similar situation against south africa..they got all out for 43...pakistan also got them for 88...then even england also 98...same situations..so bowling failed..batting yess..but these pitches are not meant for 250-300 first of all..they are par score actually..

chainsmoker1985 Posted December 29, 2011 Posted December 29, 2011 But on teh flip side it also makes mediocre bowlers look world class Who were the mediocre bowlers over here. I dont think there was any any mediocre bowler over here. Infact, Ishant who was bowling his heart out here, clearly giving more than 150% of his was rewarded with only 1 wicket. Whereas on the other hand, Aussie bowlers were also bowling with pace and with more better planning and discipline and with more better captaincy. So, they succeded. Even, tail-enders can score runs on this wicket if you are ready to spend some time on the wicket and there was enough for every bowler who will put in his complete effort
chainsmoker1985 Posted December 29, 2011 Posted December 29, 2011 WOW !! Thanx a lot for this pic. Now this is an egg on the faces of those who doubts speed guns. This is not a joke going on over there that they are showing wrong speeds to their audiences. This is the high quality test cricket
chainsmoker1985 Posted December 29, 2011 Posted December 29, 2011 People said Ishant was clocked several times over 150K. Ishant touched 150 and 150+ 4 to 5 times. He also bowled 148 to 150 5-6 times minimum. The spell in which he got Clarke out was the fastest any bowler in the whole match on average. He is the only bowler in the whole match who was consistently over 140 k from ball 1 to last. All other bowlers had dropped their pace under 140 case

vishalvirsingh Posted January 1, 2012 Posted January 1, 2012 I bet Ishu with a bit better line n length which he wud surely improve on....will get a fifer, actually seeing the pitches I feel umesh or ishu ...that all out fast bowlers may get more wickets thAn any swinger or spinner....I feel Umesh will be our max wicket taker closely followed by ishu and then Zak... Ashwin will not get wickets as tracks won't help him....I feel mithun shud replace him if its a total green track
express bowling Posted January 1, 2012 Posted January 1, 2012 on consistency who was faster yadav or sharma Ishant was slightly faster than Umesh both in terms of the fastest spell as well as the number of quicker spells bowled. He rarely dropped below the 142 k mark.
rkt.india Posted January 2, 2012 Posted January 2, 2012 watching last years perth test and steven finn is barely crosing 135k.

He rarely dropped below the 142 k mark. i feel yadav can bowl faster. he does not go more than 90% in terms of putting pace most often. he does not go full throttle and mostly bowls in a limit.
