For some it will be good feeling and for some it will be emotional

Yes' date=' please keep appreciating his ham-fisted slipping and [b']those 20s and 30s off 119 balls.
in the England tour I remember 3 hundreds................maybe you have a habit of remembering only the low scores so as to mock players later on.

Looking at the balcony it seems like Dravid. He looked particularly relaxed and was seen joking. I think like Gilchrist the dropped catches has helped him to make up his mind

Err' date=' could you be anymore predictable? [b']Do you remember what he did for two years before the England tour? And the horror show he is in slips and cannot be moved out because, for shame, he can't run in the outfield. What a disgrace.
I do remember that but I also remember his numerous contributions (many of them in winning causes) before that and I also remember that he regained his form and was batting quite well before this Aus tour. Here most of our batsmen haven't batted that well till now so there's point in targeting only Dravid for the losses.

no one is going to retire, the old trio will play another 2 years, which is not a good sign for indian team to reform themselves.... the budhhas are getting money to play tests, nd they only play test for enjoying their batting nd getting money, so forget that any1 will retire soon, things will go the same way :headshake:

I think Dravid will retire only after the England Series. Being an intellingent and sensitive person he will announce his retirement before the selectors decide for him. Not too sure about Laxman. I have a feeling that he will have to be eventually pushed out of the team.

Well Dravid exactly didnt show the same intelligence before being dropped in ODIs.Hopefully neither of them are pushed out and retire with great reception

If these guys play the home England and Ause series and then retire we are screwed. Then the young guys will have to debut in four consecutive away tours - NZ' date='SA,Eng and Aus.[/quote'] I would prefer them to be debuted on away tours. Playing 2 years at home would just push their avg's up, the media and fans will hype them up as the next golden generation...but once they tour...they will flop. Better to see who is equipped right at the start...even if they show a little combination of talent, technique and temperament to fight it out on away tours will be enough. Take the example of Kohli...if I remember right...he debuted on an away tour which was considerably not to hard...against the windies and he was found out.

Just saw the whole Indian team sitting in high spirits as the team goes down. Especiallly that man. I wish I could take the time back and watch them again as a growing kid.

Indians are not good at retiring... no one is going to retire at the end of this series.. they will retire after one of the good home series if at all.. Recently only Kumble was the exception to this ..
