Ultimate_Game
Sehwag grew up watching Sachin and idolized him from a young age. It would be very odd to ask for his retirement while Sachin is still in the team. :hysterical::hysterical::hysterical: Link to comment
Ultimate_Game
Because we need him to spank Paki bowlers in the Asia Cup :--D :cantstop::cantstop: Well said. All Sehwag needs is to go against Gul to get back in form :two_thumbs_up: Link to comment

I think there are enough players around who grew up watching Sachin but have already quit cricket. Link to comment

zen
Tendulkar's exit strategy well, his ''expiry date is near" (if not already expired) so this thread is not about should Tendulkar retire but what should be his exit strategy .... Poll coming up Link to comment
Laaloo
Odis - this series Tests - England series Seeing as how we dont play overseas ODI series for quite some time, and that's what Tendulkar only plays these days, he will/should retire from Odis after this series. And the tests against England in October. Link to comment
yoda
He should keep playing till his son can take up his spot. After all we need a Tendulkar in the lineup at all times. :P Link to comment

audioman
Retire immediately. I don't see any value for India, maybe just for Sachin himself. Link to comment
punjabi_khota
He should play long enough to get rett frustrated enough to get banned again, preferably perma-ban. That way, SRT and Rett's exit strategy can be executed at same time. Link to comment

Ponka
Get youngsters in for a better future immediately. Was tendulkar groomed by anyone? Was Dravid groomed by anyone? Was Ponting groomed by anyone? Great players are made by themselves. Let youngster play first! Link to comment
Prakat
Get youngsters in for a better future immediately. Was tendulkar groomed by anyone? Was Dravid groomed by anyone? Was Ponting groomed by anyone? Great players are made by themselves. Let youngster play first! They were all groomed. The better a player turns out to be the better his grooming was and the more talented a youngster is the more hungry he is to learn from his seniors. Nobody just walks into the international team and takes to it like he's been born to it. All of them entered as novices and were guided, mentored and helped by more experienced teammates, retired players and various coaches to become the best at what they do. Link to comment
