satishg Posted March 7, 2012 Posted March 7, 2012 He looks so subdued, poor guy. Hope he recovers completely soon, and gets back to his normal life. Good video, thanks for the share!
msb1991 Posted March 7, 2012 Posted March 7, 2012 Probably not so much subdued at tired. Chemotherapy is so tiring.

Sachinism Posted March 13, 2012 Posted March 13, 2012 Is it true Salman Khan donated all his Revital (or whatever that product is they endorse) earnings to Yuvraj's treatment?
msb1991 Posted March 13, 2012 Posted March 13, 2012 well it makes you weak. I expect him to take alteast 3 months to be ready to play cricket. How quick someone recovers from chemotherapy depends on the treatment and moreso, the person. Personally, my energy levels returned in a couple months, but then of course he will have to go to the gym to regain lost fitness so around 3 months appears likely. It may take him six months or more though to regain energy; all varies from person to person.

msb1991 Posted April 1, 2012 Posted April 1, 2012 just saw this http://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/videos/sports/cricket/World-Cup-win-changed-everyones-life-Yuvraj-Singh/videoshow/12493880.cms really painful to see him like that I had a similar cancer to the one Yuvraj had. The chemotherapy, if it was the same one I had, causes you to lose appetite after heavy doses. My appetite (and hair) came back quickly and so he will put weight back on. With modern physical training, I think he will be back to fitness in no time. With me, it has been a bit harder because I had two chest surgeries. Yuvraj has been surgery free and so, if he is fully cured, he will be back for India in no time, imo.
