Let's just spare a though for Yuvraj Singh. He's going through a very tough stage. This is the toughest time for any family to go through. Some one being diagnosed with cancer. I just hope and pray that he recover soon.

While they have no clue about Pancreatic cancer (the one Steve Jobs had), lung cancer should be treatable, I would think. I am surprised about the misdiagnosis in India. Good for him that there wasn't too much gap between that and the actual treatment.

When Hindustan Times contacted Yuvraj's mother, who is with him in Boston, she said, "He is fine and will be back soon on the field. Don't worry." The 30-year-old left-hander has been in US since January and is undergoing chemotherapy at the Cancer Research Institute in Boston. Last November, Yuvraj was diagnosed with a non-malignant tumour of the lungs but further tests showed he has cancer.

He SHOULD NOT be rushed back to cricket no matter what the 3rd grade BCCI physio recommends. He needs complete rest in order to reach his remission goals. He needs complete remission

FYI Its for middle class Americans etc that cant spend $50,000 USD to get treatment in the US so they come to India and get it done at a fraction of the price. Not because the treatment is superior to that in the US. In the case of Yuvraj he has millions of dollars but is getting treatment in the US as the facilities here are still not as top notch as they are in the US. (Why after 60 years this is still the case is anyone's mystery) This is also common with sport injuries as Sehwag just got back from England with his shoulder problem. Wish him a speedy recovery and for some improvements in the pathetic state of healthcare in India so that Indians need not go abroad for health issues.
